what about a nose ring and belly button piercing? Does it make it harder for you to get signed compared to other models who dont have them?

@Highfashionbarbiee I see plenty of models with belly button rings and I've seen some with nose rings. Just don't wear them when you go to open call if they're interested they'll ask you if you have any piercing and you can let them know at that time :)

@madridlanier Scammers are everywhere :( There are a couple of well known agencies in Atlanta: CLICK and Factor (Run by Elite model management) I would start there :)

if i'm going to an open call for commercial/print modeling (i'm 5'5") do I still need to wear heels? I'm not even bothering with runway..also, should my hair be up to show my bone structure or down?

@danfrellla Yes, you should still wear heels :) Hair off of the face is good :) If you're not comfortable with a ponytail hair behind the ears will do.

Im going to an open call on thursday. This video was very helpful, however it is like 30 degrees here in New York, so Im wondering if I would get away with wearing black 2" boots.

A question I've been dying to ask: If an agency states on their website (like Ford) specific height requirements, is that your actual height or height in heels? For instance, I am almost 5'6. Would it be silly for me to even try to go to an open call? Thnx!!

@foreverhisbeloved The height requirement listed is without heels. It depends on what agency and what division you're going to :) Do they have a petite division? or a commercial division?
