Uli made the scorpions who they turned into, lonesome crow was nothing remotely close to their major 70's or 80's style

Lonesome Crow was a debut album & a diferent kind of music,Scorpions 's writers were Rudy writing the music & Klaus the words & young Schenker!

when Uli came in it was a diferent style of Lead guitar player,so again Rudy & Klaus created , look what happened to UFO with Schenker he put UFO on the map & the same went for Scorps with Uli!!

He use to go by Ulrich Roth back in the day. He had the best left hand vibrato back then, and still does. Every guitar player would try to emulate his technique, it is classic and very under rated in the USA for some reason.

i have virgin killer on LP and used to crank that so much when i was younger but since my record player died :( i had to get the cd...doesnt quite have the same effect...maybe its just me but i love the crackle of a record :)...many fond memories are flooding back thanks for the upload :) laters!x

Roth a quitté scorpions après la tournée japonaise de 1978 pour former un trio électric à la hendrix, de plus sa façon de jouer ne plaisait plus trop à Schenker et Meine qui voulaient faire des albums plus FM comme Blackout ou love at the first sing.Michael Schenker est revenu qques temps pour aider Jabs qui n'était pas encore tout a fait au point dans ses solos de guitare.
