I'm still amazed sometimes, even after all these years you've had it, I don't fully remember 30 40 years (sorry if I'm way too high :-) ) and after all the shots you've fired from it, that piece of beauty looks like it just came off assembly, still has a lovely blue finish still works wonderfully. I got a question about replacing the part that holds the ejector pin in place when you close the gun back up... Did you have to replace that at the same time you replaced the pin itself?

Plus, it helps that he and I both really like guns, so we know, for the most part, what people would like to see. We cater to "gun lovers," since we "ARE" one ourselves! :-)

It's interesting you mention the pin in the barrel. The first gun i had was so cheap that the barrel would spin (no pin). I had to use crazy glue on it. The timing was also off. I think it was an RG make? Anyways, now i have an old Rossi (S&M M36) clone from the 60's and this one has a pin and is solid. My first real gun! Did Dirty Harry the movie influence you to get one of these? The 29 wasn't popular or the .44 in general till Dirty Harry and when the movie came out for the coming decade they couldn't keep up production because so many people were buying them. Harry had a 6 1/2 though.
