On the DVD subtitles from Discovery AND the adoption kit I got both say as Chemuk. Except on the back of 1 of the dvds it shows Kamots name as Kamutz. I don't know why they would both misspell it.

This video is amazing. I watch it and every time I do I cry.

I was obsessed with the Sawtooth Pack when "Living With Wolves" Came out, and I followed their story since the beginging.

Kamots and Chemukh where by far my favorite, and When I heard that Kamots had died, I put a grave for him in my back yard. Honestly. He was my favorite, and I loved him, dearly.

Thanks for posting this. It is a lovely tribute to Kamots and Chemukh. I was fortunate enough to volunteer with this pack twice in 2 consecutive years while they were both still alive. With the changing of caretakers, and the unfortunate loss of control by Jim Dutcher, there were many more deaths in this pack. It is so very sad and your video brought me to tears. Thanks for helping to immortalize them on YouTube.

How wonderful that you were able to volunteer with this pack while Jim was caretaker.I sponsered "Amani",did you meet him?Unfortunate is right that Jim lost control as caretaker of this magnificent pack...I have some truely sad news,the Nez P.tribe that took over as caretaker of the pack in Idaho is in part responsible for the killing off of another pack.I could not believe it when I found that out,but after some digging,it was indeed the truth.Thanks Tatorbird1 for volunteering with the pack.
