  • this is the bestsong ever ........ cant beat it

  • But I did notice the missing part....

I still think this is pretty good though considering.

  • *weird

    lol

    stupid keyboard...

  • I downloaded this album off the internet and it's werd cuzz it cuts off in the middle of the fucking songs!!

This is pretty damn good though. :)

  • ok someone please tell me im not the only person to notice you cut a chunk out of the song. if youre gonna put all 3 parts together dont edit out 30 seconds from the middle of the song it just doesn't sound right.

  • great song.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • Radiohead and Pink Floyd are both awesome in their own ways.

  • my favorite song of all time

  • the epitome of a great rock band.

  • *puts speakers and subwoofer full blast *

  • Releasing a giant inflatable pig "accidentally" from the roof of Battersea Power Station - that is how a REAL band get publicity.

  • @EyeHawk777 The Simpsons episode homerpalooza.... Peter Frampton had bought the inflatable pig at Pink Floyds yard sale and Homer *accidentally* releases it

  • muszę kupić tą płyte

  • @Kfamilyutube

i love radiohead. but pink floyd is everyone's daddy.

  • @Kfamilyutube how bout you post your musical creation as a video response and if your album is better, I'll agree with you. 1 in 14 people own a Pink Floyd album.... your right, they suck. By the way, you also have to make a movie that music history regards as a classic too. Radiohead is probably influenced by PF and wouldn't exist (as they are) without them. Good luck with your thoughtless opinions, Im sure you'll go far.

  • @0ddj0e lol @ implying that more popular = better. Good luck with your faulty logic, I'm sure its gotten you far.

  • @Kfamilyutube it's just plain stupid if you want to compare some of the worlds greatest classic rockbands to Radiohead don't get me wrong there a good band but they haven't left their mark on history as PF and the Beatles have and people shouldn't compare modern day music with classis rock in general.

  • @jasperodevries So what you're saying is, old bands should always be regarded as "best" because they were first and we already said they were the best so why change now. That's stupid.

  • @Kfamilyutube no all i am saying is that classic rock bands and bands like radiohead are completely different things so there is no reason to compare them.

and my personal favorite goes out to classic rock bands.

i don't really get what your thing is against PF but alot of bands wouldn't even be here without them.

so i'm not saying old bands should be regarded as the best bands but i'm just saying bands like the beatles and PF are just better than Radiohead.(opinion)

  • @Kfamilyutube radiohead alone is awesome. compared to pink floyd, radiohead is shit. these are facts.

  • @ostritchman101 I just don't get the comparison...people like to throw terms like "revolutionary" at the Wall, Dark Side, etc... but compared to something like the Pyramid Song or Reckoner or Motion Picture Soundtrack or whatever, Pink Floyd simply isnt those things. I think a more accurate comparison to Radiohead would be the Beatles, seeing as they both pushed the boundaries of rock in their day and progressed thouroughly within their own careers.

  • @Kfamilyutube Comparing Radiohead to Pink Floyd is insulting to Pink Floyd, but comparing Radiohead to the Beatles is just wrong.

  • @97dd79 Only person who'd think that is an "insulting" comparison is either a) a butthurt, nostalgic hippie or b )someone who hasn't listen to Radiohead. You seem like you could fit under either category.

  • @Kfamilyutube listen, ive listened to radiohead. ive heard creep, great song. ive heard some of their other songs too. and ive listened to pink floyd, im listening to this song right now, ive listened to comfortably numb, and others. and i, like many others here, have come to the concluding opinion that pink floyd is better. its an OPINION. if your opinion doesnt agree, then who cares! go listen to radiohead! your not starting arguments here, your listening to your music. everybodies happy.

  • @ostritchman101 PLEASE!!! NO COMPARISONS TO RADIOHEAD...THEY ARE NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE.....NOT EVEN CLOSE.........SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND, OR DOGS WILL ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS OF SUPREMECY. ALL FLOYD ALBUMS 1970-79 ARE SONIC WORKS OF ART......NO ONE WILL REMEMBER RADIOHEAD IN 30/40YRS

  • @junipree ....Who's Radiohead?

  • @jpheitman exactly!

  • you forgot "the happiest days of our life in between part 1 ans part 2... just fyi

  • this version is good but i like that other one better by the other band that i wont mention here

  • @1TheAlpha,

Just chill and listen to the tunes.

  • Crusaders, Go Fourth and reclaim freedom in the world against jihad !!!

  • @1TheAlpha I think I'll go third... fourth doesn't even get a ribbon.

  • Quality music. Lyricis not withstanding. Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;/

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in Christ Jesus.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Wherefore, thoughI migh be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

    PHILEMON 1 5--8

  • @1TheAlpha

What the hell is wrong with you? Take thy preaching elsewhere! SATAN!

  • @jiltedkiller hey what the frig man...

  • Quality music. Lyricis not withstanding. Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in Christ Jesus.

  • What a fuckin' awesome song. THE WALL is my all-time favorite Pink Floyd album, with THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON coming up right behind it.

  • 13 PPL ARE OBVIOUSLY X NAZIS

  • I love this.

  • Greatest song ever.

  • This is great, thanks for posting.

  • fuck

  • 12 teachers listened it

  • "____ people blah blah blah corny comment related to video for disliking"

    ^lamest comment on youtube

  • 12 people were just bricks in the wall for disliking this

  • I honestly think it has to do with the Berlin Wall, I know many people disagree with this theory but it makes sense to me, and was part of the historical happenings of the time. If you think about it the teachers are "brainwashing" the students that they are the right side and that this is for the better. They are trying to pit the kids to one side. The teachers are just another brick isolating and sperating them.

  • @kia715

Think Waters knew best, since he wrote it all. He always felt confined, then behind the wall became his comfort zone. That's why he hated large arenas.

  • @kia715 , I applaud your efforts, in attempting to reason, the meaning, behind this song. I would point you in the direction of post WWII England.

  • FUCK AC/DC

  • @bobbyrider33 fuck you

  • just got my roger waters tickets for the wall in may.....cant wait :)

  • Roger Waters = God of Music and Lyrics

  • they dislike because its just too awsome for them to handle, they wanted some trippy video because they need a visual due to lack of imagination and real listening skills

  • 11 people need education.

  • vOCÊS SÓ PENSAM NA BUNDA DE VOCêS, LOUCURA A DIVISÃO DO MURO

  • what?,11 people had to have miss clicked

  • awesome! I have always wanted to hear all three parts together! thanks!

  • 11 people sucks

  • Pink Floyd= the only band in the world allowed to put sound effects in their songs.

  • @looseele

they invented the sound efects :)

  • @looseele i think queen does a great job with sound effects too

  • @alexcervantes12 Totally agree with you. Only a few bands knew how to use it well and did a great job

  • @looseele exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!only because they knew/know how to use them!!!!and not just put them in the way bands do nowadays..

  • i saw the wall live a few weeks ago, mind blowing!!!!

  • Pink Floyd are like the beatles but only better

  • His Dad found a way to duplicate himself eleven times to come and dislike this video.

  • Those who were there to experience it all know, It was music that was part of a movement. A movement of rising up in public dissent against where the powers that be were leading our nations and society. A whole culture was created to scoff at those who enacted such suppression and oppression. Too bad my own existence only came in at the tail end of it, and sadly all people thing of these days with this song and many like it is drugs

  • Waht the fuck happens in 3:42? ¬¬ oh man...

  • @seveillescas part II

  • @seveillescas well the person didnt add The Happiest Days Of Our Lives, the prelude to Part II

  • how can you have any pudding if you dont eat your meat :P

  • learning the solo to part two... so amazing.. i tell my friends that pink floyd is one of my fav bands and theyre like "Why are you into all the weird bands like Pink Floyd and Primus".. they just dont understand.... lol

  • "All in all it was just a brick in the wall

All in all it was all just bricks in the wall..."

  • your missing the happiest days of our lives.

    (the beginning of part 2)

  • YOU SKIPPED AN ENTIRE PART THIS IS THE BEST SONG BUT STIL WE NEED THE BEGGINING OF PART 2 BRO

  • Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, defined Excellence and Superior Music and created a genre of its own. I have the cassette tapes of Pink Floyd. Loved them all my life!!!!!! Rock on in infinity Pink Floyd!!!!! Love, linda.

  • this is a great sound quality. even on the album it isn't this great.

  • daddy what you leave behind for me!!!!

  • i love it how Pink floyd oh so cleverly used a double negative regarding education..

    "we DON'T need NO education."

    <3 Pink Floyd <3

  • @dork5Rus5 It sounds better. In the song. What flows better? We don't need no education or We don't need any education?

  • @th3sp0rk Oh I know, BUT it's just so grammatically clever. By using a double negative, which is improper grammar, in a phrase about education....sorry, I'm a language nerd but yeah. You get the idea :)

  • wth u cut out like n entire part of the song

  • unfortunately for me i can't find the mp3 with all the 3 parts D:

  • @SweetAssasination i just got the whole album off of a program called "vuze" its kinda like lime wire but safer on your pc

  • part 1 = past

    part 2= present

    part 3=future

thats what i think when i hear this whole song

  • I do need "drugs to calm me" ' cause this song makes me fly!!

  • 10 people like going to school.

  • Every single compilation sucketh bigly, leaving something out...

  • Brillant music. An absolute masterpiece !!!

  • this is a crying for help, you have to wake up, stop living a lie

  • try radio K.A.I.O.S. awesome

  • how can u b so lame and not have a casette recording of this or AT least lt album

  • @godsmack35363 word up to that

  • what about happiest days of our lives you need that in between part 1 and 2 and the begining of part 3 and goodbye cruel world

  • bowt to have my mind blownnn...............

  • yeah those bullocks should go line up against the wall and be shot lol

  • Pink Floyd - "Another Brick In The Wall"

  • ¨You yes you!¨ WHY DID YOU CUT THE MIDDLE PART!! DONT DO THAT AGAIN!!

  • @kitatube07 That part is a different song. It's happiest days of our lives, A 1:51 long song. I have the Album, it fits in, but not part of the song.

  • @Zeon707 no it's not. The happiest days of our lives sounds different dude.

  • @Daclunator I've love to see your point of view, but I cant stick my head that far up my ass.

  • @Zeon707 I guess that's bad news for you because it's not as far up there as yours

  • @Daclunator Hey man that made me laugh, say it again.

  • @Zeon707 I guess small minds are amused by petty things.

  • Never bettered quite simply the best band with the best songs

  • Don't be Another Brick In The Wall

  • i don't no arms around me!

and i don't need no drugs to calm me!

gotta love pink's lyircs and 6 dislikes from the best band ever?

    what bunch of bollocks!

  • you forgot happiest days of our lives between parts 1 and 2

  • I think it's really cool how Korn made a remake of this. But, like always, the original is always the best

  • i like part 2 it in the movie the faculty

  • pink floyd are "THE" sweetest mother fukas av listened to.

  • i ain't about drugs.. come on.. u have to be really stupid to think that

it's abou the fucking system!! just watch the fucking videoclips and see for yourselfs.

    FUCK THE SYSTEM!!

  • EPIC. :D

I would always blare this song on my ipod when I leave on my last day of school.

  • this is like the best pink floyd song ever

  • ... How does anyone get drugs or the berlin wall from this? Maybe it's exactly what it appears: A man is hurt by his childhood, and builds an emotional wall separating himself from the world.

  • @Metteloid

    you could be right......

  • @Metteloid he is in the chair reminising and it looks like hes high the "wall" people are idiots

    trust me ive met them

  • @Metteloid explanation for drugs 1980's

explanation for the berlin wall they performed this song at the destruction of the wall

  • @Metteloid not only as Child also as teenager and when he is adult

  • @Metteloid actually they did play the entire wall when the berlin wall was knocked down so i guess that has some relevance to it.

  • @Metteloid people may get berlin wall from this because it was a highly important part of political culture at the time this album was released. it probably was part of the influence for this song, even if it was a subconscious influence into the lyricist.

  • 3:43 You skipped a major part! :O That was my favorite part..

  • @AperSci3

I agree part 2 is nothing without that build up part

  • Pink Floyd is, and always will be the BEST Rock Band in the History of music. No one will ever be able to fill those shoes.

  • it is about the Berlin wall , but also the wall you/we build up in our own minds.

  • I picked up a magazine about Pink Floyd and The Wall and for those who say it's about drugs, they are 100% WRONG!!! It's about the Berlin Wall that use to divide West and East Berlin. It came down in the 1980's. I know the album was written before then, but they ARE talking about the Berlin Wall. Please, DO NOT post false information. It's about the Berlin Wall and WWII, NOT drugs!!!

  • @nightwolf7288 its about neither, The Wall tells the story of a rockstar named pink who experiences various emotional traumas throughout his life. Each one of these traumas become a brick in a metaphorical wall of self-isolation.

  • you should of added the happiest days of our live which comes between 1 and 2, that way there would of been no sudden jump from 1 to 2

this is the first song i been learning bass on and its great, i remember this when it was released, those big walking hammer put wind up me lol

  • I love it =D

    X

  • Part 1 is the most evocative part, I think. I like the synthesizer work on it. The other two parts aren't bad either.

  • hol ihn unters dach xD

  • Anybody who dislikes this song has obviously had some messed up shit happen to them

  • Traurig aber wahr ! ein super lied zum nachdenken !

  • Did anyone even watch the movie the wall?

Then all of you peeps maybe know what´s the real meanig of this song.

  • @maxsjuh i watched it. it fits the movie pretty well.

  • @gingepunk....

i wouldnt compare the beatles with pink floyd and led zeppelin

  • @freshzottel he didnt compare em. he just meant they're all really awesome musicians :/

  • Another Brick in the Wall is about how the main character, Pink, suffered so much throught his life, eventually resorting to the complete and absolute isolation of himself from others. His dad dying in WWII, his terrible experiences at grammar school, and his girlfriend leaving him were what influenced this descision.

  • what is the whole song about: someone tell me?

  • @georgeayl ... Its about drugs , I know this song is from a movie so some might disagree , but its definately about drugs .

  • i love this song! I'm 14 and get the piss taken out of me at school for listening to bands like Pink Floyd. But i really dont care... When you come home i just play Pink Floyd the songs flow so well. AND IT IS ALOT BETTER THAN THE CRAPPY RAP SHIT OTHER KIDS LISTEN TO!

  • Hahaha you should learn to appreciate ALL kinds of music

honestly there's some good rap & hip hop out there :p although I barely listen to it.. lol,.except some underground hip hop sometimes =]

  • really there isnt..........

  • @wildy401 yes!!!! this stuff is thee best!!! and its stupid how you get crap at school for that! and i hate the crap rap they listen to!!!!! im fourteen to!!!:)

  • cool, have u also listened to magnum? they are a good band, abit different from pink floyd but nt alot.

  • i havent! are they good!!?? i ought to look them up!! :)

  • good more like amazing!

  • Awesome!! i will look them up straight away!!:)

  • I thought teens were into Pink Floyd these days and Led Zep and old bands like that

  • Maybe some are, like me, but too many listen to either rap (for boys) and Disney (for girls).

  • We are...but only recently. Though I personally was listening to stuff from pre-2k post 60s since I was a toddler. Younger even.

  • not everyone gets it ;) keep listening...

  • @wildy401 wow!

kids in your school are douchebags, when i tell my friends i like pink floyd they think im cool. And rap music aint shit, it has its good sides and bad sides the same way as rock do.

  • well... some rap is poetic... most is bullsh*t though...

  • Comment removed

  • yup, Pink floyd are actual musicians, what people call music these days ain't music... rapping doesn't take much when you compare it to the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the beatles

  • @wildy401

Hell yeah it has been a hope in the World when i hear like that. Keep going tough guy.

    Anyway are u British?

  • @gergely007 yeah I am British I am from Devon in the UK I am 14 :P

  • @wildy401 you're one of us, dont listen to them

  • @thatthat2 It's just us and them =P

  • @wildy401 tell those rb listening fags to kiss your ass .......

  • @wildy401 So true man. I'm fourteen too and I listen to all this stuff, you name it: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and pretty much anything else classic rock, grunge, classic metal. I wish there were more kids like u @ my school...

  • @wildy401 screw the rest bro. you kno your shit man. keep it up. good music lives on man

  • @wildy401 lol im 13 and they see me wearing a pink floyd t-shirt and think-theres another pothead..

  • @wildy401 Keep it up, Kid! Listen to whatever the hell you want to! Plus, when you get older you'll get far more respect for appreciating music like this.

  • @wildy401 me to

  • This trilogy of songs proves how smart Pink Floyd was. You can't have a true concept album without working with recurring musical themes

  • @Rambo29 very true, about recurring themes. do you think they do this in division bell? i think they do, especially when you compare songs such as what do you want from me?, marooned, keep talking and high hopes? let me knwo what you think.

  • I haven't heard all of Division Bell, but they definitely did it on Animals (thats my fav Floyd album). The more I think about it, their stuff was meant to be used with film and have some kind of picture or scenes behind it. Movies need recurring themes and they were geniuses at that.

  • Thanks!
