Hey my computer is turning off every few seconds. I have a pc so i cant find where to change the display and the sleep settings. There's no hardware and sound category so I don't know what to do.

@Arod2496 If your computer is turning off every few seconds, that is far too fast for standard screen or power settings ... there is some other issue; your system may be overheating (check your fans, clean out dust, etc.); you may have a power supply issue (the system will turn off to protect itself against "dirty" power), or your RAM may be corrupted (severe memory errors will also shut down the system). Also there may be an issue with your motherboard or you may have a virus (try safe mode).

@helpvideoguru if it still turns off coz mine turns off every ten mins and onece in 5 secs it restarted and said start up launcher repair tried it didnt help but it said it may have turned off too protect data

I keep doing this but when ever i want to go play WoW it will let me play for bout 20-30 minutes and then just shuts down and then i will log back in to WoW and im dead and im getting frustrated and i followed everything you did. What else could i do?

@unhairyape2 ... the only other thing I can think of, besides the power options and screen saver settings shown in this video that might shut you down after a set time is your BIOS settings. Usually, when you turn on your computer, you will see a message like "Press Delete to Edit Settings", or it may be ESC or F2 or some other key; check your BIOS for sleep or screen saver settings and disable any you find.

@unhairyape2 open commandpromp AS ADMINISTRATOR!!!! and THAN TYPE powercfg.exe /hibernate off to disable hibernate it helps for me
