@Vipa567 That's because the Rasen Shuriken wasn't sage chakra. It was just condensed thrown chakra, that exploded. The pein absorbed straight up sage chakra from Naruto and without being able to control it, he just turned to stone. Poor fella...

the more i watch it the more i despise it. what the hell was going in studio pierrot when doing this fight. this was the CLIMAX of the series. even kishimoto said it. naruto fighting pain using taijutsu alone was so badass in the manga. reminded me of a little DB. but in here -_-. the coolest thing done was gamabunta, gamaken, and the green toad kicking the summonings asses in the air. loved the extra fighting in it. and hinata vs pain was good. dont get me started on 4/6 tails vs pain XD

Thats not entirely true, infact he uses it in a fue episodes, Later in the comic series he tames kurama (just as bee did with Hachibi,), This allows him to access and control Kurama's power at will. (kurama being ninetails)
