  • that why i have a sign on my door that says "to jehavah's witnesses athiests get to sleep in go bother some one else"

  • I have 2 fliers that were given to me and they are preaching the salvation of christ. The cover says "God Loves You" and when you open it, the first line says", but if you don't accept his son as your savior, you are doomed to an eternity in torment". Nothing says love like "agree with me or suffer endlessly". The second cover has a picture of both a peaceful looking heaven, and an infernal, horrific looking hell. The question on the cover was "Where will you spend eternity".

  • Why do atheists and other religions have to put up with all of the Christian bill boards, but its a matter of drama if another religion or lack thereof does the same? Man I can imagine the stink over a wiccan billboard etc.

  • I LOVE it when Christians say things like "Income tax doesn't not exist just because you don't believe in it." As Robert DeNiro once said "there's a flip side to that coin." And here it is, are you ready?

Things like unicorns don't exist just because you believe in it. (Riverdance! :))

  • And the religious will just say "well the bible says this would happen." Which is pretty incredible. So the bible actually predicts that if something is a fraud, it will become exposed as a fraud eventually. What an amazing prediction. Does the bible also predict that sometime somewhere, someone is going to go to cook some food? I mean isn't it easy to predict that wars will be fought, people will die, people will be born, frauds will become exposed, etc?

  • We are just trying to find other atheists who need help coming out. It's not easy in this country. How do you consider that a hateful message? It doesn't even attack christianity.

  • Why is it ok for them to have signs then? It's about time we start standing up for our rights.

  • We don't hate god. We can't. We don't believe in him/her/it.

  • @Kaalec One cannot hate a thing one does not believe in, but one absolutely can hate the concept thereof. Have you heard the term “antitheism”?

  • @xXvolhvXx Indeed I have, and I am ardently opposed to religions, especially those who purport to be the true religion and their followers "chose" – christianity, islam and judaism. They are nothing but superstitions that promote hatred. I believe they must be called to task at every opportunity. If only they would just believe in their fairy tales and shut up about it. But no, they have to proselytize and force their beliefs on everyone else.

  • Something doesn't cease to exist because someone doesn't believe in it? What a great argument, opens the Pandroa's box for every myth to be possible; let's hear it for another century filled with people killing each other because they believe that invisible deities are channeling messages to "prophets", woohoo!

  • I live in CO and remember this "controversy." What I don't understand is why so many people got so pissed off by it. All it is doing is offering a support group for those who chose not to believe. It is not insulting religion, but merely offering a helping hand for those who feel ostracized. Feel free to practice your religion, but don't try to regulate mine.

  • Every year more and more atheists, agnostics, fence sitters, and apostates are coming out of the closet.

I love it!! Keep the billboards coming guys. Fight them every step of the way! This is a fight for the hearts and minds of the weak-minded out there and we are making head way.

  • "We do it in love. With gentleness. With firmness and with compassion." Pedophiles say the exact same thing.

And was that radio host REALLY comparing his almighty god with income tax?

  • LOL in colorado springs? that place is superrrrrrrrrr evangelical. haha i would love to see their reactions

  • whatever I don't believe that ..and they better find God...but everyone is entitled to their opinion that's the beauty of freedom a speech!

  • what a bunch of idiots ...i swear atheist are a jokes they believe in God cause if they did not they would not spend so much time trying to make their point and if they were on a plane and it was about to fall from a the sky crashing I bet you 100,00 they would be praying to God

  • @khristinals "they believe in god"?? Really?? Why would someone say that they don't believe in a god if they actually do?? Only a theist would come up with such a stupid idea. You fail.

And for the plane crash scenario: No, the atheists woldn't pray!! But the THEISTS would spend their last minutes praying for god to save them. The atheists would simply use that time to find parachutes/makeshift parachutes, or fix the plane. Atheists survive, theists die. You fail again.

  • Christian billboards are not divisive? They are if you're an atheist or a Jew or a Hindu or a Muslim. America was never supposed to be an "anything" nation it was supposed to be a nation where citizens could believe or not believe in any religion or any god. That's what the Constitution says. It also explicitly says there shall be no religious test for public office (Article 6) but there is only one open atheist in Congress to represent over 50 million non-religious Americans.

  • Christians feel we have a moral requirement to SPREAD Christianity what are your motives of spreading atheism?

  • @theDotGeek LOL, is that a joke? The Abrahamic religions are hell bent on destroying each other and everyone else in the process. YOUR Bible predicts an apocalyptic war which will end the world. Our tax dollars go to support Israel which is using the arms we sell them to fight Muslims, who want to kill Xtians, who support Israel. It's a friggin nightmare...and you seriously ask, what our motivation is for trying to get people to think rationally???

  • @theDotGeek

Are you asking because you are interested or just spouting something out because you've already made up your mind about things?

  • @theDotGeek Atheists feel they have a moral requirement to SPREAD atheism and save theists from the perils of religion, ignorance and stupidity.

  • @theDotGeek uhhh Yep you do ...and my thing has always been even if the possibility of their not being a God was just possible I would still take my chances on being a believer cause it can't hurt. And the greatest thing about God ...is His plans will still unfold whether the world wants them to or not!

  • Respond to this video... One more thing....it's not about moral requirment it's not even about religion ...It's about a relationship with God..that's all he asks ...it is MAN that makes up all the rules and has turned many away from the truth that God loves humanity whether the love him back or not..it's impossible for him not to love what he created ..however He is a holy God and the more you know Him ..the more you really want to be like him and I hate what "CHURCH has done

  • Respond to this video... continued.....CHURCH ..RELIGION....SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS has made the gospel so complicated and unattainable ..JESUS never even preached a difficult gospel heck he talked in freaking parables! He died for all and the only thing he is guilty of ...IS LOVING MAN!!!!! I promise you He is real ...if you knew what my life was before I started having a relationshop with Him ....my gosh it was horrible but HE LOVED ME enough to take a chance on me regardless!

  • show you how much faith they got.

  • how is it possibly controversial? all it says is don't believe in god you're not alone! its totally nazi and in breach of freedom of speech to dis-like this billboard. And did you hear the presenter? She acted like she never heard of aetheism. And the pastor is contradictory. Gentle firmness? and thbe thing that disproves god is not that people don't believe in him, it is the fact he can't be proved. BEING DISPROVED IS THE SAME AS NOT BEING PROVEN!!!

  • have you notice the people who always "speak on gods behalf" when shit like this arises are always fucking idiots. I know income tax exist fucker because i can look at my fucking pay stub and its right fucking on there idiot. see.. fuck.. i hate to partake in ad hominem attacks but here a thing about people who believe in god....their stupid

  • @Nofacethatsace what kind of christian are u? it seems 2 me u play both sides. U want 2 befriends with the devil & God. But guess what budddy there's only 1 way & that is God. Since u're saying u're christian u should know better than that u should know that those who don't accept HIS SON JESUS will have a part in the lake of fire they will be doomed. I suggest u to start reading ur Bible instead of reading the atheists newspaper 'cause it's about time u start making up your mind.

  • @bravone1 Oh shut up with your fairy tales.

  • "Income tax doesn't not exist just because someone doesn't believe in it."

Q.E.D. God exists! What an idiot.

  • My uncle used to say he hated god for not existing !

  • Not in my neighborhood, thank God.

  • Hate does not mean disbelief. I'll demonstrate this.

I hate war. I think was is bad. War should not happen.

I don't believe in war. I don't think war happens. War doesn't happen.

Do those sentences mean the same thing? No.

Atheists are not 'god haters' they are 'god non-believers'

    Simple.

  • I see it as insulting because it says believers dont reason. Geesh, all I ever do is reason.

  • I'm a Christian, but I agree that they should be allowed to have their billboards. I see Christian billboards all the time and since I consider Atheism a religion, they shouldn't be left out either. I think it will draw some from religions such as Christianity, but that's a chance we got to take. They have to get real with themselves and stop being fake to the world and God.

  • @NoFaceNowThatsAce atheism is not a religion

  • @burny6666 If it's not a religion, what is it? A motorcycle is not a car and neither is a car a motorcycle, but both are vehicles.

  • @NoFaceNowThatsAce atheism is the absence of believes in deities. its has nothing to do with organized religion like catholicism or islam. your religion believes in a god, thus making its followers theist. theism in itself is not a religion. same thing for atheism. some religion does not believe in deities, making those religion atheistic. but, atheism in itself is still not a religion.

  • That is so tame compared to christian billboards!

  • Screw this, Buddism all the way...now that's truely mind empowering..

  • The Antichrists are coming.

  • Oh whatever. The christians get all butt hurt when the atheists want some bill boards. Yet christians get billboards all the time.

  • @2011iam4god what, says who?

  • a fool says in his heart "there is no God"

  • @Xinthose yeah but an intelligent man agrees there is no evidence for god

  • @abrf1983 look in the toilet after you take a crap and call yourself intelligent

  • @Xinthose jesus would be proud, lol.look at my crap, if i see the face of jesus in it i will send it to you, p.s. tell your mother to stop changing her lipstick my dicks starting to look like a rainbow, bitch. i dont hate people i hate ignorance and with you theirs alot to hate. stick your nose in your bible and dick in your hand and jerk of to jesus.wheres your evidence, until then your god is imaginary jesus didnt exist or was a fraud, your faith is misplaced and your religion null

  • @abrf1983 don't you know? for it has been written, Jesus Christ is hidden from the world, the only way to Him is through His Father, God. When you start believing upon Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are AN ENTIRELY NEW CREATION!! it is truly wonderful really!

  • @Xinthose its also been written, one ring was created to rule them all, but u dont see me believing in hobbits, orcs and middle earth do you? however both these claims are extraordinary + needs extraordinary evidence to support, however you have not reached your burden of proof. so whatever is written in your MAN MADE TEXT. means less than nothing to me, and the faith(metaphysical) in your belief(false belief- unsupported by evidence) of god. is laughable if u have evidence present it or shut up

  • @Xinthose And the wise man says it out loud.

  • Faith-based political views are not valid.

  • Though we do hate Theist tyranny, which is what this is. The very worst thing in history and the world.

  • LOL Those billboards aren't up anymore.

  • you don't need bilboards there are athiest blogs and websites I'm sure there's an Athiest dating site so they need to sit down and shut up!

  • I'm still waiting for an Agnostic billboard.

"Does God exist? I don't know and nether do you."

  • @2011iam4god and what happens to your faith if it doesnt come? are you gonna say that god was just pulling our leg when he wrote that part to deny that.

  • @2011iam4god OH NO! WHAT TIME!?

  • Hey, that's my group!

  • Christians are getting all bent out of shape because of this billboard, saying it's offensive, hateful, etc. However, they seem to have no problem with the myriad of billboards found in the south/mid west that cry out something to the effect of "believe in Jesus or go to Hell"! IThese billboards are much more offensive than atheist ones, so until the Christian's billboards are gone, they should keep their hypocritical mouths shut.

  • @ShawnoftheDay thats the most true thing ive ever read

  • @ShawnoftheDay believe in Jesus or go to Hell!!

  • @Xinthose Ah, there is that loving, Christian spirit we all know so well

  • @Xinthose proove it, where is your evidence, atheists simple state if you want us to believe in your wacky theories you better have some credible evidence not the words of your bible or jesus appearing on a piece of toast etc. etc.

  • @abrf1983 your hate is all the proof you need. look deep inside you and realize that there is love inside of you, which comes from God

  • @Xinthose what hate, the claim for you god or any other god is unsupported by evidence i say this to you and any other theist on youtube, if you have the evidence needed to support the myth of god present it and i will take it into consideration until then shut up because all you do is lend weight to the argument that most theists have the intelligence of a wet lettuce. i dont need a deity to love, but as i stated can you provide the evidence needed to belief if not

  • God disbelievers not haters. You have to believe in something to hate it.

  • All religion is all bad all the time for everyone in the past the present and the future...the future btw, is looking bleak as a result of nuclear annihilation brought on by the "faithful" Its the old "my invisible bully god concept is better than your child rapist woman hating god concept lets burn the planet and see who's right" story. Thanks religulous people for erasing my species

  • ummm god haters? How can I hate god when I don't even believe a god exists?

  • God haters? LOL How can one hate what they don't believe in?

  • As a former paganand recovering anti-Catholic I see Christmas and Christ as completion of pagan's longings for True God, whom only Jews knew before Christ.StPaul,a"Jew's Jew"was sent to the Gentiles after conversion>All truth reflects The Truth,Jesus.Do Christians always reflect Christ?Of course not.Does Christ"divide"?Of COURSE he does: he MEANT to.But that's cause He KNOWS each heart& is theHEALER of broken human nature,HEARTS.Rabbi Zoli convert to CatholicChurch after WWII. PEACeBE w/U

  • "The billboard questions the existence of god" I don't think so, its pretty plain to see that god is a non issue. Shit, they even had the courtesy of making the "G" a capitol. I would have left it in lower case!

And what kind of a comparison are income taxes and a god?

But the most aggregeous action was that the local news even bothered to cover it!

  • Did anyone else notice the bias injected by the announcer at the outset: "The billboard questions the existence of God".

How does "Dont believe in God? You are not alone." actually call into question the existence of God? It actaually is a message to those who don't believe in God to tell them they are not the only ones, and to give them a website and a phone number where they can get in touch with others who hold the same opinion.

Really, do these people not understand plain English?

  • Random question but, how many atheists celebrate Christmas or the Holiday season?

  • @stephpyle06 - A lot of atheists celebrate Christmas because their families do. Christmas doesn't have anything to do with Christianity anyway, it has been around for thousands of years before Jesus. In fact, Christianity 'borrowed' the Pagan winter solstice celebrations and simply set Jesus' birth date to coincide. The Bible makes no mention of Jesus' birth date... It was simply fabricated to make it easier to convert people.

  • @ chatmaggot's info box description: the spokes person didn't sound like a "God hater" to me, he doesn't hate what he doesn't believe in, he just want to find a group to belong to like religions do. it's the scorn from the religious he might be "hating" on.

  • Why is it acceptable to have thousands of religious billboards scattered across our secular country but not acceptable to have billboards welcoming atheists? Why don’t the media decry the religious billboards? Our constitution ensures that individual rights are not denied to citizens belonging to minority groups. Atheists have as much right to place atheist-friendly billboards as Christians and groups of beliefs other than Christian have the right to place their billboards.

  • 'god haters?'

If there's 1 thing to argue the case for atheism it's this video.

An atheist or 'god hater'(which i believe means someone who hates imaginary things) wouldn't think of making a video this stupid and ignorant.

I can't believe any news station would bother with making such a stupid broadcast. I acctually hope Christians keep making this stuff so freethinkers can expose it for what a load of shit it really is.

  • How can you say "god haters" when atheists don't believe in god? Does that make sense to you? What happened to freedom of speech and Christian love and tolerance? I gues those only work if it promotes Christianity.

  • So God is like income tax? Never heard that one before, lol.

  • religious people have churches on every corner, their own tv channels, radio shows, stores, billboards, including countless other things, yet we try to put up a few billboards to let people know it's okay to be atheist and everyone goes crazy. ridiculous.

  • If christians can put up a billboard saying all atheists are traitors to America, we should at least be able to put up a neutral, mildly suggestive billboard.

  • I don't care what you think, feel, or believe, just keep it out of politics is what I say.

  • A lighthouse is more useful than a church.

  • @raulBecker

Things more useful than a church: lighthouse, hospital, police station, daycare, wal-mart, and a port o potty.

  • @raulBecker benjimn franklin??

  • @raulBecker A lighthouse in the desert is more useful than... is the saying actually.

  • Atheists are not "god haters".... a "god hater" is called a "maltheist."

  • Its hard for people brought up in a certain religious faith who can't find it in themselves to believe anymore. The problem they find is that they feel very alone, and if they openly state their views, it can lead to marginalization and stigmatization. This billboard merely states that IF you don't believe in god, then there are other like minded people out there, so don't worry. It makes no other assertion.

  • chatmaggot, there is actually a proper word for God haters. They're called misotheists. They're not even close to the people behind this billboard. Do some research.

  • so according to pastor Willard C. Johnson, anything short of completely denying the existence of atheists (irony much?) is an attempt to discredit Christianity? Really pastor is your faith so weak?

  • The sign doesn't even specify a particular God. There is no reason for that pastor and that radio host to feel like their faith is under attack, especially not when there are dozens upon dozens of billboards scattered about with Christian messages on them.

  • "Even when mankind says, 'we reject god'... still he's there"

    Oh yeah?

Even when mankind says, 'we accept god'... still he's not there.

Your argument is flawed, radio host guy.

  • I love how that guy thought he did anything creative by putting "signed god" under "You are not alone." lol That only says that even god doesn't believe in itself. Christians are hilariously ignorant.

  • I don't believe he exists oh and by the way I hate him. Sense. This makes none.

  • Those billboards should only be as controversial as any billboard speaking any belief. The idea that the myth of god should hold some special place as the only message is a faulty one.

It's only controversial because theist are afraid of the message.

  • Funny thing is, in which way does the bill board attack religion? It doesn't even say that god doesn't exist. It's just saying there are people out there that don't believe in God.

  • God haters? Oh yes I hate God.

Just like I hate Voldemort, Skeletor, and Lord Zedd.

  • i dont believe in any gods, i think religion is about control of the masses. Christians..when they find out "I" am not one of them, do everything they can to tell me how wrong i am, and how i should repent..or ill suffer.

I dont recall asking them, i didnt force the issue..i told them what i think when they asked..and they think its up to them to force me to see things their way.

You will never convert me, never turn me ..Christians hate that.

  • its a huge guilt trip like battered wife syndrome. i hit you cuz i love you. if i didnt hit you i wudnt care. i love you accept me as god or burn forever. its sick.

  • why do only christians get offended? atheism is the absence of a belief of all gods, not just the christian god. once again they think that there are two kinds of people in this world. Christians and everyone else

  • Then tell me why 99% of the atheist websites in existence focus 99% of their material on Christianity.

  • Probably because christianity is the largest religion in the U.S. Not only this but when people are trying to pass laws based on their beliefs then that is when atheists will protest. Take banning gay marriage for example. There is no logical secular reason for making this illegal and it is only based on the judeo-christian faith. This kind of thing infringes upon the rigts of others and it will not stand. Don't take away the rights of others and their won't be a problem.

  • Im glad I live in the UK, where only 12% of the population even go to church. Instead of a church on every street corner, we have pubs instead and this gives an altogether better sunday service.

  • I wonder what ever came of these signs?

It's pretty ridiculous that the christians out there were already whining about atheist intolerance and whatever else when all they were doing was posting a message to other atheists/doubters and letting them know... well, that they aren't alone.

Anybody who had a problem with these signs ought to have their heads checked.

  • The best part about it is, they say we are so intolerant. Next breath(or even in the same) I can no wait for you to burn in hell/ I hope God/myself or other supporters kill you/ (How dare you use free speech that right is only reserved for me and my ignorance.)

  • thats a violation of constitutional rights.

  • So God exists because we have income taxes . . . . riiiiiiiiiiiight -_-. What a moron.

  • did that yahoo just compare not believing in a god to not paying your income tax? what an idiot comparison to make. i havent believed in a god or gods for many years and nothing happened. im sure ill hear about not paying my taxes.

  • "God haters make news in Colorado."

Atheists are NOT "God haters." You can't hate what you don't believe in.

  • @worldsworstjukebox I hate my little pony

  • (Pastor) "We denounce what they are doing."

You're denouncing a billboard being put up which informs non-believers that there are others like them? What's the harm in that? I don't denounce what Christians do when I see a stupid "God Billboard" (and they far outnumber the atheist ones). This is all about a majority attempting to demonize, belittle and silence anyone who doesn't believe what they believe. It's Goliath crushing David. How ironic.

  • Yeah, as long as your religion doesn't demand that it be exempt from taxes, or have laws made according to it-- practice away. The only religion I'm concerned with is one that inhibits mine and other's rights.

  • "Discrediting Christianity" assumes that Christianity has credibility in the first place.

  • Brilliant!

  • There is absolutely NOTHING hateful in telling fellow atheists that they are not alone. Calling this an attack is ridiculous. What about the hateful signs Christians put up, threatening people with hellfire? Hypocrites!

  • God haters? I cannot hate the nonexistent.

  • "We denounce what they are doing with compassion, love, etc. etc."

So...when I get threats telling me that I'm going to Hell you are saying that out of "love"?

Look buddy. We believe what we want to, you believe what you want to. When a Christian billboard goes up (Millions of them are out there), we don't get that upset at all. One Pro-Atheist sign goes up and you religious people flip your shit.

    Your faith is breaking.

  • I believe in a God and this sign doesn't offend me at all.

Heck this sign is more of a message to Atheists by Atheists then anyone else. It's freedom of speech and it's not attacking anyone.

  • hmmm... I'm actually from Greeley Colorado.

When I went to high school I was silenced and told that I would burn in hell, and that I shouldn't learn anything since my life had less meaning to them. all because I said "I don't believe in god"

I do think there are a lot more atheists out there... but with christians acting like this of course they will hide... it's safer sometimes... especially my home town

  • Since when am i a god hater? Wouldn't i have to first believe god exists in order to hate it?

That aside, i find it ridiculous! If i'm driving along the road and i see a christian sign i ignore it unless it's aimed at me, and if it is, it might just be offensive, but i don't try to take down their signs!

Yet some religious have no problems taking down ours when it has NOTHING to do with them? Motherfucking repression. I'd love to personally kick each of those christians in the crotch.

  • God haters?

I suppose a-fairyists hate fairies then?

  • Christianity, or any religion for that matter, fears nothing so much as it does clear thought and free speech.

These morbid mythologies wither and die when dragged into the light of reason.

  • Christians have to stand up for what we believe in just as much as you feel you have to stand up for what you believe in. And just for the record, true Christians do not hate atheists. We feel compassion because in our beliefs, Jesus is the only way to heaven and if people don't believe in Him and allow him into their hearts then they are bound for hell. Once someone is there, they will wish they had believed differently.

  • I support these ads! Yea for democracy!

  • "God Haters"... jajaja, think about it please, this phrase makes NO SENSE, how can someone hate what he doesn't even believe its real? LOL

  • Hahaha yeah, seriously!

I hate God about as much as i hate Santa and the Easter Bunny :)

  • @ZeusPR I think its more like"I don't believe in God, and I HATE him for not existing"Denouncing anyone's belief as having been the SOLE cause of ALL conflicts since time began doesn't really explain anything, except perhaps that even atheists can hurt with hate speech.

  • I love that religious people take any offense to this message, when clearly it's aimed at other atheists, and really should not concern them at all. The fact that they concern themselves with it, shows their persecution complex for what it is. We're not dissing you, we're just trying to get more of us together, stop trying to make this about you.

  • the sad thing is if the same thing happened with a religious billboard, no one would batter an eyelid, as soon as a non religious one pops up though out jump all the insecurities

  • Just because it says theres more than one atheist in the world doesn't mean it's offended. I haven't seen an atheist billboard in real life yet, and Ive seen at leas 10 Christian ones. Nobody would care if THEY put up a billboard.

  • I love this video. Kudos to those guys.

  • How can you hate the tooth fairy?

  • So... the message that the christian talk show host is sending is that not even god believes in god?

  • everyone should be able to speak freely, including athiests.

i'm offended by god. that is my freedom of speach. yet its name is still printed on american money... in the british national anthem... wheres my say now? nowhere, because whenver anything anti-god is said... its not allowed...

  • How can you be offended by something that you don't even believes exists?

  • i can be offended by the belif of god.

  • So it's alright for you to be offended by my belief in God, but not alright for me to be offended by your disbelief? Why?

  • i was being ironic... i CANT be offended by God because people like you dont allow it...

Free speach is only for theists... or at least theists like to think so.

  • Yes, because all theists are nothing but robots there only to fill your crude generalizations symmetrically, right? Because none of us have any opinions outside of your stereotypes.

Thank you for telling me what I do and don't believe in, by the way. Reminds me almost of the way Christians will tell atheists that they're only pretending to be atheists.

  • All religions in their free speach discredit another religion... but no one takes offence to it until an athiest discredidts religion....

  • And this has what to do with me subjectively, as an individual - which, despite the lense stereotypes you seem to view the world through, I am?

  • And actually, come to think, besides that, I'm not a representative of the beliefs I share with others, just like YOU'RE not a representative of the disbelief you share with others. Or would you like me to start judging all atheists based on my impression of you, as you've done with a make-believe theist?

  • actualy... i was just commenting on the video... and the fact that the preist in it was all like "its discrediting christianity"...

  • then they need too be locked up 4 good , if no more extremists then there will be no more killing in the name of this and that, and they might just be all wrong about a so called god as well WHAT-IF

  • Everyone has the right to be offended.

  • @chatmaggot Because the belief in god not only exist...but has much influence in how we humans must live day to day. Not by intervention of god himself, but by intervention of those who believe god is the only way we should...the only way we can live...and then tries to impose that on those who don't believe.

I don't believe god exist...but the belief in him and the effect that has offends me.

  • @chatmaggot exactly

  • @chatmaggot Because the believers in him are extremely prejudice to us. Also, a lot of war is caused by religion (take not this doesn't just mean Christianity) and a lot of people are killed out of it.

  • @chatmaggot im personally offended by the concept of someone that can see everything i ever do, at all times. i am offended by religions, etc

i agree with xrifter, if u have something to say that doesnt have profanity (up for debate) then you should be able to say it without fear of censor

  • @Xrifter oooowned

  • its not that we HATE god, it's that we don't believe that gods EXIST!

do you believe in zeus? you don't because you weren't born in ancient greece.

you only believe in what you believe because you were brainwashed as a child in a specific location of the world.

  • exactly

  • It's such a passive sign. Why the hell is it causing controversy? Some people become so easily offended over someone else professing different beliefs (or lack thereof). Gah.

  • wikipedia zomg.

evolution has more evidence supporting it than gravity or electricity.

also ever hear of an athiest crusade or jihad...or one of the many books of science and reason written by atheists telling them to kill people because they dont believe as they do.....

  • I think what he meant to say was the evidence supporting evolution has hundreds of pages of evidence, where as the other things such as gravity or electricity have retrospectively less paperwork telling how they function.

But yeah it was kinda funny the way he worded it.

    Cheers.

  • Yeah that's what I meant. I was sort of high when i typed that so forgive me.

  • Actually, if he was refering to our Theory of Gravity and Electro-magnetic Theory, then he is right. There is more evidence to support biological evolution than there is for Relativity theory and electomagnetic theory.

  • @chatmaggot no, ur comment is

  • @chatmaggot no, it has as much. In fact, we do not know what cause matter to produce gravity. So yes, the evolutionary theory is more supported than the theory of gravity. Not electricity though.

  • @chatmaggot "That has to be the most idiotic statement ever posted in the history of YouTube."

Your interpretation! I understood XskemosX on the SPOT, because the laws of gravity electricity are mostly marthematics, and Evolution is observing a lot of OBJECTS. These created an overwhelming EVIDENCE.

On the other hand, your invisible imaginary friend was, with overwhelming EVIDENCE created by human BRAINS (note: Not the reciprocal)

  • @kleenex3000 Not to mention that our current understanding of Gravity is from Einstein's General Relativity which, on the order of the very small/quantum, breaks down and is no longer valid, hence Quantum Mechanics.

We have yet to find the Graviton yet, hopefully CERN will be able to manage that in the future.
