  • Not many know but this tune was written by a lady called Barbara Berry.

  • Nice rendition of my Favourite song, My Mum wrote the music for this song and I am so pleased that others are playing it still.

  • @pberryuk Many thanks. And many thanks to your mum for her talented composition!

This truly is a wonderful arrangement by Eva Cassidy.

  • You do an incredible job with this song. I watch the video regularly. Have you ever considered singing "castles in the air" by don mclean? I think it would really suit your style. Personally, I'd love to see it anyway! Thank you sir, and bravo.

  • Lovely :)

  • wonderful playing and awesome singing

and i also love your version of streets of london

  • Thanks, Mike.

    You are very kind.

    Viele Gruesse.

    Alan.

  • Good job, Alan! It's been awhile!

  • Hi, Ed.

Thanks again. Just been listening to your superb version of 'Ticket to Ride'. Quite excellent!

    Best wishes. :-)

    Alan.

  • Hi, Ian.

    I'm on my lunch-break...honest! :-)

You have some nice original material by the way, and an excellent soothing voice to boot.

    Best wishes.

    Alan.

  • Hello Alan,

    Sweet one !

With the capo on the guitar, you are tuned quite like a lute ? Will you also sing lute songs one day ?

    Val ;-)

  • Hi, Val.

Singing with the lute, hmmm, it's a possibility. I do like the less formal, more relaxed approach which Sting has introduced on his Labyrinth album. However, my lute is delayed though...hopefully it may arrive before Xmas!

    :-(

    Bien amicalement.

    Alan.

  • Alan, sure that was just Lovely-many thanks for posting

  • Thanks, Paul.

It took me longer to edit the video though than it ever did to learn the song!

    Regards.

    Alan.

  • As always you amaze I really like this one definitely one I can write to which is nice ^^

  • Hi, Maya.

Thanks for your kind words. I do love your 'Japanese'-style animations. It's a lovely art-form. :-)

    Best wishes.

    Alan.
