  • Hope he doesn't have a dog or cat...

  • how do you clean that

  • That tank is extremely expossed to an accident with the glass being so low to the ground.

  • Do you buy them or what cus I seen like 5 people on here that has them?

  • hey uhm goodluck when you have kids ^.^

  • Nice tank but I don't think it matches your house.

  • @alizcool1 yeah, the tank is way to nice =)

  • Thumbs up for posting the nitrogen cycle info, I doubt most of the viewers read it, Nor understand that it is required .

  • Thats tight as hell though

  • My dogs would jump in their and try to catch the fish =( It's a gorgeous tank!

  • earthquakes are common here so bad idea for me

  • A usually fish people don't own cats they own fish! Duh!! retards!

  • @Daveguitarfish I' ve always had both cats and fish... used to have a 200 gal with Oscars and my cat used to just sit on the couch stare at em... sometimes the Oscars would try sparing with him through the glass haha

  • walking home wisling step on something squish look down dinner

  • how big that size?, can it be smaller?, maybe around 30cm x 30 cm, thx

  • lose the stupid music!!

  • you will come home one day and find all your fish gone and your cat floating up into the tank

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • son scheiß des sieht 1. beschissen aus und 2. is es sicher sau teuer

  • What if your power goes out man?

  • I want a tank like that, but I have a cat . . .

  • dude are you obsessed with those fish tanks?

  • how to fill the tank? i would like to know

  • Cool Fish Tank !!!. This sucker is probably expensive to maintain.

  • Very nice video! Charming admissions!

  • You see a expensive fish tank, I see a tank that is a maintenance nightmare

  • @lndac02 The idea of theses tanks is that maitenance is hardly needed. I dunno why of the top of my head but its something

  • @jbshadow1 all tanks need regular weekly maintenance, i.e filter cleaning glass cleaning. I prefer my tanks oblong :)

  • bad

  • nice...if the air pump fails does all the water come out?

  • nice but better if higher maybe waist height

  • HomerBong - Its fine = Plus it has a lot of water in it, so its better of on the floor.

  • put it on something, iz too low.

  • @HomerBong yeah, imagine having a cat...snack time just got easier >__<

  • Realmente se ve antinatural y antiestético.

  • i love it has anyone used a 55 gal tank open bottom in a pond I HAVE

  • over an aquarium...

  • well, aint that just the cats ass

  • wow!!

    se sale la peceraaaa O.O

  • i have both tank can u tell me how do ya do that plz ?

  • air bubbles in tank are easily explained. A little bit of left over air is recirculated with internal pump, just moved from top to bottom over and over again. Air never enters or leaves the tank to create the bubbles. There, bubbles explained.

  • Sorry to say it but stonesar person is right lol, but its amusing what people come up with.. :) Dont stop on our acount,

  • I payed attention in science class i guess. common sence isn't so common anymore eh?

  • Wow most of you need to go back to high school!!! It's simple physics! The "Volume" of water in the bottom tank is greater than the "Volume" of water in the top tank; there for the water pressure from the bottom tank keeps the water in the top tank!!

  • explain the bubbles.

  • the oxygen pressure and oxygen levels are different in the upper tank than the bottom tank, the pump can not mix enough oxygen in the water by itself.

  • ok. but the air is displacing the water, therefore the water level in the upper tank should go down, if it has a sealed top. but the water level remains the same. how is that possible?

  • the air pressure and air volume is low enough that it won't displace the water; water does absorb oxygen and carbon dioxide.

  • Finally. It's quite simple actually. Thanks for telling these dimmer bulbs how to brighten themselves. It's bad enough that no one can even spell correctly anymore. Disturbing.

  • @iamgenx Hey no problem, I'd like to build one of these myself inside a terrarium.

  • Its a pump dependent tank. The water in the higher part would come out if the power went off

  • @Ghostanti1 no not pump open botton... now if the water level in the lower level droped... then the water would come out but no not pump activated.... its like one of thewm dog/cat water bowl type systems

  • you are full of shit

  • I never seen a fish tank like that!lol

  • Actually umm as you would fill the bottom the top part would fill with the extra water

  • how do you clean that !?!?

  • then how come they are putting airbubbles into that inverted glass?

  • What do you do if a fish dies and floats to the top?

  • yea i no right how does it work

  • fish normally sink. if they do float to the top, just get a measuring cup, reach up to the top and scoop it out

  • awsomeeeeeeeeee never seen that before

  • i seen so many tanks like that , but i cant understand how the water in the upper tank is just standing there , and doesnt goes to the lower...uhhh i feel sto.Opid haha

  • i think its because the upper tank is sealed air tight ...so the water doesnt go out...something like that

  • you suck the air out with a long tube as the tank fills up takes a bit of time but worth the process i guess

  • it's just a vaccum. same thing is happening here as the pet water bowls that refil. you know them? a dog bowl with an upside down bottle screwed onto it?

  • ok every one here it is

Take an empty 2 liter soda bottle

go to your kitchen sink and fill up BOTH the sink AND the bottle

then turn the bottle upsidedown so that the mouth of the bottle is just BELOW the water level in the sink; so that the rest of the bottle is above the water line thus outside the water the physics work cuz the bottle except for the mouth is a closed system but if one were to poke a hole in any part of the bottle all the water would drain out as it sucked air in.

  • it works like a giant bird drinker. as long as no air gets into the top bit, the water shouldnt go pouring down :)

  • wow how much was that tank

  • it will hold a siphon even if the pump stops. just as long as the air pump and water pump are on the same circut

  • and a lot of dead fish

  • I hope you dont have a cat. lol

  • Ok. Nice for all owners of fishes but what thinking about it fishes?

  • interesting did you build this? needs a stand

  • lose the stupid music!!!!!!!

  • Strange looking tank

  • but a very amusing one, i would like to walk past and think, Thats lovely, Better than that crack, and filler. lol

  • lol tell me abt it..but must admit it looks pretty cool

  • Nice, but doesn't this design limit the amount of dissolved oxygen for that volume of water?

  • put it on a stand not on the ground

  • exactly what i was thinking

  • wahh...y the info so much...

  • wow! nice tank

  • So what happens when the power goes out? Does the water just pour out everywhere? Cause that would suck bad.

  • i dont think it would cause the way the water is in there it wont do anything i could be wrong tho

  • Um yeh it would hydraulics man the the water would want to equalize and it would spill out of the front. The only reason it stays like that is because there is a pump sucking the water up. If the pump went out for some reason the water would spill out all over the place.

  • like i said i could be wrong....

  • probably wouldn'

t, seeing as a vacume was created.

the aqualift would stop wroking just as the air stone would stop working.

place a cup in water, fully submerged, turn it upside down, and pull up, the water will stay in the cup because their is no air to displace it, it is equalized, in the vacumed state.

  • try going to a bath tub filled with water.

    bring a cup.

fill the cup with water, then put the cup upside down.

bring it to the surface of your bathtub's water.

then the water wont spill out, unless it was brought over the surface of the water

  • hehe. That sounds like one of those stupid spam posts that are around.

"1. Go to a bath tub filled with water 2. Bring a cup 3. Fill the cup with water, then put the cup upside down. 4. Look at your hands!!""

    lol

  • lol

  • no, it works like them auto dog water where the water in the bottle constantly refills the bowl, but that means the upper tank must be air tight which makes me wonder how the filter works.

  • u got it just what i was thinking

  • what would be best a 60 gallon hex tank or a 40 gallon square tank such a tuff decision =( put money toward a 60 gal hex but its not displayed so i dont know if its good for alot of fish to swim around in seing its taller then it is wider, dunno if i should switch or not. any one oppinions

  • go 60 gal hex

more water for fish waste to be diluted in, so the water quality will be better.

  • i would love a tank like that, but i don't trust my goldfish to not jump out

  • I'm pretty sure that if I had that tank my fish would get eaten by the cat.

  • no way

  • Amazing Tank! Jealous Much!!

  • NICE TANK!

    check mine.

  • sort of a random spot for an aquarium... but it looks nice. also, cool song btw!

  • Oh sorry, I stepped unwillingly INTO your lower aquarium....

  • ya i wouldve definately put a stand even if it was a small 1 just to elevate it alil of the floor

  • that's a gorgeous tank!

  • I think the tank itself looks awesome but I think it would go niver if it was slightly raised on a stand maybe

  • LOL clean your floor! Nice tank but!

  • my dog would drink the hell out of that tank! LOL! welp i guess its not a good idea for our place

  • That is gorgeous.

    Wolfe

  • Can someone please explain to me what happens when the water goes below the top tank's rim?

  • A big air bubble gets into the top tank, displacing some of the water which fills the bottom tank back up above the top tank's rim. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to understand this...

  • LOL

well now I get it, thank you.

Something just didn't click in my head earlier, because I thought once the air got into the top tank, it'd just keep filling, and water would never be replenished in the top tank.

  • wot the hell is that it is great bud

  • power gose off- and you have water all over :)

  • Nope. the water makes a suction seal.

  • what song is this? i like it.

  • That is so cool were did u get it and how much$

  • shallow tank at bottom tall narrow tank at the top with a hole to put a vac pipe so suck air out so the water will reach the top

    nice

  • my question is why don't gravity take over and the water come out the bottom part of the tank ...

i see air at the top so what is it that makes the water stay in place ...please help?

  • manny thanks freddy1211389 good help hope i can get one

  • anyone can tell me where I can buy this open bottom aquarium ,i live in spain

  • there's an advertisement in the top right corner of this video

  • doesnt the fish jump out thou?

  • You should keep on designing these cages and sell em for money, I bet lots of people would pay. I know I would XD.

  • there not hard to make it works off the same princable as the 2 liter filled with water flipped up side down same thing all it is a tank

  • AWESOME dude

  • cost much

  • cool haha

  • i like these aquariums and it was a good idea for that space, especially next to the bamboo scroll, but it doesnt look good sitting on the floor. try putting a stand underneath it to bring to the height of the entertainment center

  • How do you clean these tanks? I've been looking into getting one and I'm doing some research. Any advice is helpful, Thank You!

  • that is well good it looks cool =]

  • sick tank i like it

  • i can just see someone rushing around the corner and putting their foot through the bottom of it, do you have kids? lol nah its different, i like it

  • so r me and you... sucks ha?

  • lol, quick thinker.

  • those things aren't good for fish.

  • why not>??

  • Fish need a lot of space to move vertically instead of horizontally. It's a nice tank, good for people who live in small spaces but not ideal for long term fishkeeping.

  • agreed, but you mixed up horizontally and vertically. I don't think these fish would be bothered by the dimensions of the tank, given their small size.

  • Ok so instead should he have bought a 10g tank? LoL -- Just because it has extra height doesn't mean it doesn't have enough width. That's a pretty wide tank. At LEAST 2 feet wide.

  • I agree, the fish have enough space to swim... I have never heard of a fish dying because of the lack of space anyway. How do you think they survive in hospital tanks? Space makes them happier, but not unhealthier.

  • well I was replying to someone who said they need more horizontal space and less vertical.

he's right but the fish in the tank are fish that many people put in shorter 10G tanks...

but to be honest lack of space does cause stress and stress has been proven to cause a weakened immune system and shortened lifespan.

  • cool

  • is it like a bench too?

  • where do they get those? theyre so cool

  • YOU yourself watch this video. YOU ARE fucking stupid. Where is your brain?

  • Your brain is inside your ASS ????

  • Lovely!

  • having one of those is risky, might spill all over the floor

  • so pessimistic!!!!!

  • Nice tank, but i could do without the porn music...

  • XD XD XD

  • did you make it buy it bacause i showed my dad this and he wants to know how to build it before doing anytrhing derastic (or how ever you spell it) plzplzplzplz i really want to know......

but this first where can you find this open bottom tank..... what are the instructions??????

  • that tank looks realy good there nice work and its always good to have fish in the house

  • Wow! could you please tell how you made it, or where you bought it and what its called.

    Wow! just amazing!

    Thank you

  • i thiink it´s great , but only worry when you need to clean the floor if you by accident hit the glass ...........ouchhh

  • you better have "flood" insurance

  • How do u build that?

  • oh sorry rocker did reply cool, but they only can be built custom or can you find a kit?

  • Can you move it? How ya gonna get to all those outlets if you need to? Great idea but no one ever comments back on where to find one or how much. Can you do this with a salt water tank? Great Tank. 50JC

  • they are how ever much you wanna spend and you can get them from almost any aquarium builder, look in the phonebook

  • quick question.. where are all those air bubbles going.. and if they are just going to the top as it seems.. what happens when the air pocket grows too large? how do you release it?

  • I thought this too. But surely there must be a vacum system at the top or something.

  • wiked siiiiiikkkkk soo cool

  • ima lawl if a tv remote falls off and shatters it LOLOLOOL

  • how can i find 1 and how much ?????

  • those new tanks are so fukn sick

  • how can u clean it how can u put water

  • terryyouth

I have come up with a different way than what I listed before here.

Click on my name and see my video of a aquarium/pond where I have an upside down aquarium with air flowing into it, WITHOUT the need for valves and holes drilled in the tank!

  • kwl!

  • weird but awsome

  • I didnt get it at fist. So I just decided to try it on a small scale. Took an icecream bucket and tall drinking glass. I fill the glass with water then set the bucket on top and turned both over so that the filled water glass is now upside down in the bucket. Then immediately begin filling the bucket with water. As soon as you get enough water in the bucket, pull the glass from off the bottom. The water in the glass stays put as long as its rim's below the the waterline in bucket. Hope it helps!

  • how does the water not flow out?

  • water pressher of air no air all filled with water thats how if you dont understand msn messenger BlackRaven56@hotmail,com
