  • The so-called fetuses are really babies! They have a heartbeat just like we do! They suck their thumb and react to their mothers voice. Props to Tim Tebow's mom and the man himself for sticking up for the rights of the babies!

  • His Mom Choose to have him.She had a choice, and made what was the right one for Her. All women deserve that right. Taking that away from women doesn't stop women having abortions. It only causing women with $ to travel to where they can have a legal abortion, and poor women have to pay the back alley abortionist. Restricting abortion only hurts low income women.

  • By the way, he didn't play for the "Florida Gladiators", it is the Florida Gators.

  • Well, good for her.She made her own choice. And her "Timmy" turned into a successful and overpaid professional athlete. We get it.She made her own choice, and other women deserve theirs. And if they choose *not* to carry a pregnancy to term, that should remain their right also. The keyword is choice.Pro-choice also includes the choice *not* to abort, unlike anti-choice aka so-called "pro-life",who only want one option regardless of the circumstances.

  • lame

  • i think it's ridiculous that anyone doesn't like this. it made me laugh. it reminds me of my brothers and how we rough house without hurting one another. anyone who says it's violent obviously doesn't have siblings.

  • back when tebow was in the womb, per se, abortion was illegal in the Philippines, where they were doing missionary work so she was gonna have "timmy"

  • No human has a right to life or any due process rights by the 14th amendment to use another human's body or body parts AGAINST their will, civil and constitutional rights: that's why you are not force to donate your kidney---the human fetus is no exception; this is protected by the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment that makes reproductive slavery unconstitutional.

  • dont have an abortion kids u might havee a tebow on ur hands lol

  • Love! <3

  • What a positive, fun, and uplifting message. Definitely gets the point across without being

    nasty or mean spirited.

As for those who take exception to this ad? Tolerance is a two way street. Grow up.

  • Well that was hardly anti-abortion

  • Liberal, hippie, fruity, tree hugging, voodoo crazed, retarded, jungle loving, eco-wimp, Wiccan, queer, bohemian, trailer trash, occultist leftist shrimps want criminals alive but not unborn babies. THAT'S their EXCUSE for defeating abstinence but condoms and birth control are NOT always fully effective either. Humans aren't animals like liberals believe. I don't support abortion unless one's health is in danger, something's severely wrong with the fetus, or if she's helpless in a rape.

  • "Tim Tebow was a member of the Florida Gladiators."

I remember those days! Did you know it was that same university that made Gladiatorade? It's yummy!

  • Considering how great the Denver Broncos really are if his mom had aborted him just think they might all be wearing superbowl rings this season.

  • Abort Tebow!!!!!

  • I'm pro-choice but I'll be damned if I can figure out why this commercial is controversial. I can't even really figure out what it has to do with abortion. People are so stupid.

  • @2941justin It's from Focus on the Family, with the tag line "Celebrate Family. Celebrate Life." If you actually WERE pro-choice, which you are certainly not, you would know about Focus on the Family's ultra-right wing stances and what "Celebrate Life" is. Tim Tebow is Uber-Christian, and thus a staunch anti-choice advocate, which is one of myriad reasons people are tired of him wearing his Christianity on his sleeve.

  • @happywash So.......all the human beings on the Earth that are pro-choice are aware of this group according to you? And I am NOT pro-choice because I am not ultra sensitive in reading into this harmless 30 second commercial about a mother exercising her CHOICE (that's right, it goes both ways) to have her child. Not only am I pro choice, but I'm also an atheist and therefore find Timmy's God stuff mostly entertaining and funny but certainly not offensive.

  • This sends out the wrong message. WOMEN need to decide for themselves not society and especially old 70 year old male politicians

  • @SunnySide2000 The commercial is forcing nothing on anyone. This is the most silly arguement I have seen thus far. You say that women need to decide for themselves, yet is that not what the mother of Tebow did, decide for herself? And you don't like her desicion, so you, the so called pro choicer, are moaning that Tebow's mother made the choice to go through and have her child.

  • Let me tell you all something. Before you could utter even 1 syllable,Before you could take the first few steps.Have you ever wondered how you made into this world? Your mother, the first to love you and hold you. A child is a gift from god, whether of what you come from.WE come from a society that is ignorant of its own mistakes.Ever since 1971 to the present 45 million unborn fetuses have had their lives thrown away before it even began. What If one of those babies knew the cure to cancer.

  • @TkdOscar126 I got here from some sperm from my dad and an egg from my mom. God had nothing to do with it because God (SPOILER ALERT) does not exist. Can you follow a God that allows children, living children, to be sexually abused, forever ruined, some within the church itself? What did those children ever do? How cruel is this God of yours.

  • 0:23 I love the Florida Gladiators.......LOLZ!!!!!

  • @Asianinvasian2010 LMFAO I thought it said Gators nice catch.

  • When are we gonna banned all extremists in this country? Seriously when? I'm sick of people preaching this and that. This is America legalize it and if you dont like it, dont do it. Its that simple. i dont hate Tebow, he is fun to watch and i dont care about how religious he is. This is just a general thought to all brain washing extremists like Conservatives, Liberals, Religious, Anti religious and theres more. I call them all TERRORISTS you know people who shoot you if you dont follow them.

  • oops meant to say anti-choice of course

  • Can somebody PLEASE explain why this ad is such a problem? It does NOT cram the pro-life stance, nor does it condem abortion. Yet the infanticidists...er, I mean pro-choicers have their shorts in a bunch over it. So, (again) can somebody PLEASE explain what the problem is? Well, ...anyone? Hmmm, know what I think? I think the infanticidists , I mean Planned parenthood/pro-choicers are being even more INtolorant than they accuse us "radical" pro-lifers of being!

  • @Timbrock1000 You have to be pretty thick to not understand the pro-choice message in this ad. You're obviously being tolerant by calling us infanticidists and belittling our opinions.

  • @tim55lincecum Still, you have to admit that pro-choice protesters blew this out of proportion. The second the radical liberal movement hears someone utter the words "Focus on the Family", everyone flies off the handle.

  • @tim55lincecum I didn't say there wasn't a pro-life message. There is, albeit undertoned. All I asked was why should the ad be a problem? Because of who paid for it? (Focus on the Family). As for referring to abortionists as infanticidists- Infanticide is the killing of a baby. Which is what abortion is. (only differance is abortion is killing an infant prior to being born.) Adding the adverb "ists" to "infanticide" relates to the practicioners of abortion/ infanticide.

  • @Timbrock1000 umm yea when its a fully grown child, but when the "baby" has just been concieved it doesnt even look like a human, it looks like a bunch of cells, not even a sex organ yet, no gender no defining feature, i think that Abortion after a certain period like late term abortions should be illegal but if it is just started and its obvious the fetus, not even a fetus at that point but the cells have no functioning brain or anything then its ok,

  • @Timbrock1000 people dont get abortions because they find some sick pleasure in it. Thats what the religious right thinksThey are baby killers and they enjoy it.No some girls just aren't ready for a kid,or they forgot to use protection,or they were even raped and don't want to carry their rapists child to term, think about the mental anguish a girl would have to go through just because God doesn't want her to terminate her rapists baby.

  • @nowknowthis The vast majority of abortions do not occur due to rape. Also you say what if she forgot to use protection? As for the protection argument, it is the woman's fault that she couldn't keep her legs shut. For the rape argument, all I can say is I hope the rapist gets executed, and that the woman is not stupid enough to hold responsible the innocent who did nothing to harm her.

  • @Timbrock1000 I agree....well said...

  • Screw Tebow, his mom should play football! Who else can take a tackle from an NFL player?

  • @GermanConquistador08 Really? Is that all you could come up with...lmao

  • That guy (tebow) is a fascist.

  • Are numbers with names all that matter from prolifers? Rich, Poor, Black, White, Catholic, Jew, Athesist, etc...? Sence when do numbers really matter and equate the quality of life? (on either side of the argument honestly)

  • Hm. Still pro-choice. It saved my life, and if you're against abortion, you want me dead, and you don't want my ACTUAL, REAL son to exist. So, fuck pro'life'rs trying to use guilt and prophetic manipulation- 'your baby will ALWAYS bee someone epic like a cancer-curer or a quarterback or a rockstar' to pressure women and teens into making decisions best left to THEM, not strangers in churches, on TV, or on political pulpits.

    Mind your own business.

  • Hey, pro-choice is the way to go! I love it!

    Love and kisses,

    Satan

  • @cornfednebraskaneer Grow the fuck up!!

  • God bless tim tebow and his family for taking a stand against what is wrong and standing for what is right

  • Abortion is pretty awesome. It is like giving a pencil a really big eraser.

  • @awesomedls09 I am not trying to say that I am better than everyone else. I would never tell anyone what to do either and I would never hate a person for a choice that they made. I was simply stating my opinion. But I guess you can only do that if you have the popular opinion that anyone can do whatever they want, no matter what.

  • @awesomedls09 so you're saying that the baby is at fault for what the father did?? Children are a gift. Being a mother means doing whatever it takes for your children, even if that means giving up your life. How could you live with yourself if you knew that you chose your life over your baby's life?? I know that I couldn't.

  • Tebow was planned, it was just a matter of his and his mom's health if she were to have him, she could've died during his birth. That's what the commercial is advertising.

  • if there was a simple way to legalize abortion for women who were raped or otherwise, i'd be all for it. but since theres not, i am pro-life

  • Ironic isn't it, a woman discussing how she had a choice to have or not have an abortion. Yet pro-lifers would like to take that choice away from other women.

  • okay, so one woman decides not to have an abortion, and turns out a football playing kid. What about the millions of women who make the same choice and end up impoverished, malnourished, and can barely take care of themselves, let alone a child?

She made the right choice for HER, but not every woman is her...

If the time is right for the individual to have the child, then have it. If not, they should have a choice available.

  • @pyromaniacevil Your an idiot! What if your mom had an abortion then guess what bud you wouldnt be here. Think about that.

  • @SuperRsvidz um... I was PLANNED. My parents had stable jobs, were married, and had me in their 30s. I know LOTS of people who should never have been born, and if I was here because my mommy was a 17 year old who was too scared to have an abortion, my life would be SHIT right now.

    Think about that.

Seriously, if you can't support a child DON'T HAVE ONE. It fucks up your life and the life of your child... that's something you can never change. You can, however, get pregnant again later in life

  • @pyromaniacevil If you do not want to get pregnant, then you should not have sex. Every choice in life has consequences. Some of those consequences are bad ones, like an unplanned pregnancy. It is time for people to step up and take responsibility for their own actions instead of killing an innocent baby because of a choice that they made.

  • Abortions saves lives

    Howard Stern

  • hmm doesn't even mention the word, and it still looks like one of those old religious fanatic ladies like the ones back at that crazy people church who say raped little 8 year olds still have to have the baby...

  • NAME ONE! I DEFY you to find ONE eight year old who was raped and got pregnant. Don't be stupid!

  • no I live next to the most dangerous city in the world so its not really surprising, and they are not all eight, some are like teens

  • Hmm either they wussed out or did a bait and switch. The latter meaning.... they wussed this down and made it out as going to be worse than it was. Then complainers would look like they were overreacting... But remember they had no scripts, they had the hints and words of CBS and Focus on the Family.

So either they wussed out or were manipulative... which do we really want?

  • Wonderful moral message

  • Super!!! Wähle das Leben!

  • And the tackle scene is ¨violent¨?? Wow what a weak argument coming from FOOTBALL fans, since we all know that no one ever gets hurt or tackled in football games *rolls eyes*

  • So, THIS is what everyone was all upset about? Geez with the fussing and whining going on, I thought this was going to be graphic, showing aborted babies or whatnot.

  • I just paid for 2 aborions this month, and i couldn't be more happier.

    Howard Stern

  • @HowardSternn

Perhaps your money would have been better spent on a few spelling and grammer lessons...

  • @HowardSternn once again here is another idiot. That would have been funny if you were aborted huh?

  • @SuperRsvidz I only favor Abortion to the 8th month

    Howard Stern

  • I think it's ridiculous that so many people are up in arms agains this, protesting it.

Think about it! It's a free country. There are pro-choice ads out there everywhere. What is so wrong about the pro-life side sticking its head up and raising its voice?

  • @girlgal123 Where in the hell are these "Pro-Choice" ads you're referring to? Give me a link to three that have been nationally televised, like this one on the SUPERBOWL.

  • @happywash My argument that it's a free country stands regardless of whether those pro-choice ads are nationally televised or not. People are allowed to advertise things that you don't like and that offend you. Unless the ad is intending to be cruel to you and slander your side, it's a fine ad. Respond to it and start a conversation. Getting angry isn't going to do anything.

  • @girlgal123 because they're wrong lol

  • @girlgal123

Saying it is one thing, acting on it is another. These people use their religious moral superiority complexes and try to force it on the rest of American through the legislature and courts. It's absolutely insane. They use their money and power to attempt to stifle the rights of people.

  • @girlgal123 Planned parenthood earns billions of taxpayer dollars each year.

If they didnt make everyone opposed to abortion to seem like a racist biggot, they might stop getting money.

And they cant let that happen.

  • How dare anyone have an opion that conflics with the left. They protested that? WTF

  • Love this ad. It is sweet and funny and there is NOTHING controversial about it. And newsflash: Tim did NOT actually tackle his mother! LOL! It was a spoof on how tough she is to have carried him; all she went through and nearly lost him. Some people do not get this and this, unfortunately, does not surprise me.

  • Excellent commercial.

Now remember back before this Tebow commercial was aired. Remember how "pro-choice" groups called this commercial "anti-choice"? How "pro-choice" groups criticized CBS' for its decision to run the Tebow commercial?

Forgotten? Didn't see those "classy" "pro-choice" ads on You Tube? Then please look at them now: "Florida Raging Grannies Rip CBS Superbowl Ad".

  • unfortunatetly they HAD to find something to complain about.

"I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it"

-Terry O'Neill, President, Nation Organization of Women

  • LOL that's just ridiculous. i love the add!

  • To "skunkworks226": The NOW gang is criticizing this "violence" in hopes that everyone will ignore the egg they now have on their collective face.

Violence? Puh-leez. I saw more realistic "violence" as a child when I watched the "Road Runner" cartoons.
