Thanks a bunch. With TileProxy I try to find locations with 30cm resolution, basically the highest setting. It is really slow loading, if you have a fast connection and a fast hard drive it will help. good luck!

It was a lot of fun... I especially enjoy trying my hand at snap rolls, spins, and formation flying outside loops. I find it really hard to recover cleanly from snap rolls. Anyway, thanks for the positive feedback.

Big bear CA to Catalina CA is an interesting flight ,, from the mountains to the LA basin , across the sea to the small island , It is a short trip ,

Oh yes! Thanks for the suggestion. I flew into KAVX again over the weekend (that is with FSX and TileProxy). Actually, our redflagsim group flew in and out of KAVX a few times this year. The approach is stunning and difficult. I made a video of it in 2008... I will post again for you if you would like to see it. Take care.

Thanks Andre! I have been wanting to post something... Just to keep active, but like you, my free time has also been very limited as of late. This one was a two-weekender to shoot the vid and another couple days recording the soundtrack. My Sony Vegas trial expired, so I am back to movie maker :(
