My local card show is in Marcus Easley's hometown of Stratford, CT, I've been going there since 1990. Some of the same guys are still dealing there, I wonder sometimes how they make any money with their prices. There are a few guys I deal with on a regular basis, one of which is the card supply guy who charges SO much less than LCS prices. There's a couple guys who know ebay prices and ask reasonable amounts especially if you buy in bulk and repeatedly like I do. SO much fun! Happy Holidays!

@hudsonfan15 Yeah some of the guys were a lot more reasonable than others. Just can't be afraid to walk away I guess. And I like your buying in bulk idea, if I told them I was going to buy a ton of cards I'm betting most sellers would come way down on price. @odcdatsme Both, lol. After a bad start to the game I was like, well this is good, at least we will get better draft pick. But then once all the momentum came our way and we got those picks off Tebow I couldn't help but be super excited about it, especially being at the game and all. I spin the outcome of the game into a positive either way :)

@goldenboy32873 Yeah I thought about mentioning ebay prices but I didn't want to work them up even more than I already had, lol. Some people who are obsessed with beckett get so angry when you mention ebay. I might think about trying it though at the next show.

Very nice package from Chris! SO nice to know they care.....lmao. Nice ebay additions! LOVE the fact that you picked up so many cool old school inserts. That shows how much you love the cards and collecting in general....not that it wasn't obvious before....lol. There is a show here in Feb and I'm gonna be on the lookout for cards like those. You may or may not know but if you Google "Beckett show calender," you can find out local card shows that way, as well. Good for you for wheelin' and dealin' those dealers! That's one of the best things about going to a show, lol. Put your foot down and tell them how it is! Damn it! lol

@cardseeker111 I think the guys told me every third Saturday there is a card show at Ramada Inn North - 16510 I-45 from 9-4. Although not in January because of the TriStar show. There might be one other show in Houston that they have every month too, I think in SW Houston, not sure though.

Your pwe got caught in the sorting machine and jammed it up. You are very lucky to get your card undamaged. That is the one reason ppl shouldn't send in pwe. I had the same thing happen to my package once and 2 of the 3 cards in it were junk. Happy Holidays and see you in the New Year!!

Also jackasses like the ones you dealt with give dealers a bad rap. We always offer stuff at great prices and deal with everyone. We do our work. Most of the guys who do the small shows are idiots that dont know much. They just open and want to get their money back on a box. Glad you put them in their place its awesome when I can make them feel like a dummies!

Very sick sick mailday!  On the shows on beckett you dont have to be subsribed to view it. If you want to know how to search it drop me a pm and i can explain its pretty easy and give you the links. There is a big Houston Tristar Show in January coming up that we usually set up at. If we get the shop we wont be there if we dont ill be there set up. We tend to get vids of tubers that show up.
