If you want to be safe go get a CO AUTHORITY co detector .this is the only co detector that they install in your duct work and will turn off your furnace if it leaks the carbon monoxide .I think all furnaces need to have this detector .

No any place that gas can be.I saw a new report a guy had a generator running in a room in is home with the window open & he had the door close.But the gas got in his room and he end up dieing in the bed.
