  • Looks really good

  • so unreal. balls blows up in contact with grass.

  • @Trinitrotoluo

you do better in blender haah xD its very hard. lol

  • how to animate ?!?

  • @TheGoldenlegend1 this is quite old, look at the tutorial in my blog

  • @flyinman101

i did look at the tutorial, but i have a a few questions, like, how do we move on to the next frame? and when we move the cube, do we move a little bit at a time, or just put it at the end of the grass? and how do we change the background? and how do we color the cube or the ball?

  • @TheGoldenlegend1 Just put it at the end if the grass a few frames on and it will move automatically.

Have a look here to learn about colouring en .wikibooks. org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Quickie_Material

  • Umhow to u render animation with physics?

  • @slipperywhenwet5 umm go to game> then record game physics to IPO

  • Cool. I like the collisions.

  • So I assume you used particles for this?

  • Yeah it says in the description.

  • Is there an easy way to make the grass into thick stubs? More like plastic squares instead of hair-like.

I can't believe I didn't find Blender earlier. Thanks for posting this, looks great.

  • How do you use the wind and the soft body togheter?

When I apply the soft body, the wind throw the particules in the air.

  • Wow its cool how something so simple can be so...... amazing....

  • lol!!!! Very good, Nice Job!!!

    Blender is powerful xD

  • Epic.

  • i have made a tuto (:

  • It's great but when i try to render the animation in the window it goes extremely slowely! HELP!!!

  • It depends on your computer specs and because its using particles it will take longer.

  • you could disable the raytracing in the render which will probly make it a bit faster.

  • What gregarios you are! Thank you! I'll add you on my friends!

  • i made a tutorial on grass in my blog the links in the description.

  • No ! I can't belive you! In version 2.46 ,i can't make grass!!!! I can't find where are static particles! I installed BL 2.46 and 2.44 because in 2.46 i can't make grass!!!!Can you tell me how...just an ideea?! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!

    :D

  • in blender 2.46 the particle system was changed and now its different and theres no static particle button. u av 2 go into- object(f7)- then particle buttons- then add new particles to the chosen object. To make static particles such as grass and hair u need to choose HAIR from the drop down menu.

ill make a tutorial if u want.

  • But what blender version do you use?

  • 2.46

  • Oh thank you!!

  • How did you make the grass move when touch the ball?

  • set the grass 2 softbody and then set the ball to colision
