I think Zack was stronger than Cloud, even Advent Children Cloud.

First off, Cloud was the only one Sephiroth went easy on when fighting.

Second, this battle was AFTER his fight with Genesis, which was AFTER Zack was contained in Mako for four years (No fighting, no practice). After Zack escaped he fought hundreds of Shinra soldiers on his way here. Zack even said himself that the Mako had weakened him.

He managed to carry Cloud from NIBELHEIM (far as fuck) to the outskirts of Midgar.

Actually after the credits roll it shows Cloud heading towards the Mako reactor on the train like the beginning of of the original and says to be continued in Final Fantasy VII. Haha, kind of makes you wonder if they're ever going to remake it or if they're just poking fun at the younger generation that hasn't played it yet.

This scene and fight were as emotional to me as Aerith's death, i dont know how long i fought them but i was exhausted at the end, i knew this battle meant the end for Zack but i felt i owed it to him to kill as many of those Shinra bastards as possible, let him go out in flame and glory.

It was a good thing i saved every item in the game for that battle, allowed me to last a very long time.

@KeesusChrist The First, according to Nomura, is Sephiroth, because during the last battle in Advent Children, Sephiroth became Omnipotent(All-Powerful)  . He was toying with Cloud during the entire battle. Cloud is Second for obvious reasons. Zack is 3rd because he fought Sephiroth on equal grounds, he defeated Angeal, he defeated Genesis, he defeated an army, and defeated the Goddess. Eifie is the 4th.

I mean, he lugged Cloud's body around while being attacked. He fought almost the whole Shinra army, ALONE! I think Zack had the potential to be the strongest character in FF. Cloud picked up where Zack left off.

Lol the round thing on his back is a magnet, however he doesn't just put the blade against it, he slides the little hole near the hilt of the Buster sword over it, which in effect keeps it steady to where it won't fall, yet is easily able to pull it off. If it could hold it without the holes in the sword, there's no way even Zack could pull it off with ease. XD

Also, Zack lost to the three soldiers at the end because he was "dying", you tend to get weak when that happens... :\

@FatherOvGore This game is great, admittedly i thought it focused a bit too much on Genesis, but it kept true to 7, and explained a lot, and it was a different play style, which I'm sure you didn't like, but it was still amazing. You probably hated it wasn't turn based and you were awful at it or something like that. I have no idea why you have so much against this game.
