  • Thanks for the great info! I'll keep my eyes peeled for that other 45.

  • We did have our own record with the singer in the photo, on Rhythm International Records a year or so later. The A side was ' Got The Blues ' the flip side was ' Heavenly Love.' My guitar mate and I were blowing the two Gretsch's through two Fender Band Masters, and the base player, a Fender Baseman. The Base Player honest to God went on the be a NASA Rocket Scientist. He was a helluva base player, and a great friend as were the other cats..

  • I'm the mop top with blond hair, second from the left doing my best to look like my hero then and now, George Harrison. The handsome guy standing next me to looking like a young McCartney shared duel lead guitar with me. My axe then was a Cadillac Green Gretsch Country Club, very rare axe now. My guitar mate played a twin cutaway Gretsch Chet Atkins model. Honestly the only player in the photo on this Big XL recording, is the singer sitting. The other four of us are not on this record.

  • Yes, they are from Atlanta 1964 here, A couple of of the guys still play. I would love to have a MP3 of this and the other side. Danny Miller is in the Men In Blues and they play all over Atlanta. If you are on facebook check out Atlanta Bands page. I would love to post these tunes on it.
