Oh god, the right hand is annoying the balls out of me. It has to be fluid, not stiff like it is. Watch her videos now (she's over 30s years old today), she corrected this. She's using way too much forearm work that she needs to. A lot of the sound actually should come from the wrist and thumb/first finger.

I don't understand how you could listen to a13 year old give a performance like that, then turn around and instantly critisize. I don't know you personally, but I'd bet money that you can't do anything as well as she plays this piece, at 13 or any age.

I think this clip is amazing. I have heard many young violinists and would be prodigies both live and on Youtube. In my opinion this performance ranks with anything I have ever seen or heard. Her raw emotion is quite moving and genuine. Moreover, the fact that she can communicate all of that emotion and stay in perfect tune throughout elevates this performance to exquisite! Bravo!

Yes, she's supposedly is amazing. I just have to say that I definitely do not enjoy her performance of the Bruch. It is too aggressive. And she said she treated it as a 21st century piece... ew. And she said she never listens to other violinist's inerpretations... :P which is kind of conceited and ridiculous.

Wow, really amazing for her age, no question about that! However, I feel that her style of playing is a bit "heavy": maybe too dominated by forceful and dramatic emotions. She could hold back a bit in some parts and be "lighter". I know this is a dramatic piece, but I heard the same in other pieces she plays.
