qwerty keyboards are slower than predictive, think about it. When you type on a fullsized computer keyboard you are using all ten fingers. But when you limit your typing to just using two fingers as most do on a qwerty phone, they are slowing their texting speed drastically. Using a qwerty on a phone is like going back to the hunt-and-peck method. Look at any "revolutionary" typing system, they have LESS keys - since there is less to deal with it faster.
