the game is rated one of the best fps shooters, the ps3 slim beats the xbox elite on many reviews. the music does suck though. gears is such a puss game, its as basic as any other game but instead they have a cover system that makes everyone a coward.

Gears has the largest skill gap of any shooter, except for old skool ones like Doom. Try playing it online and you will be completely destroyed. Also, Gears sniping is far harder than this as you have to actually aim for the head, you can't just get an easy bodyshot.

i played online when it first came out and i did decent. at least neutral score the whole time. just used the gay cover system. it took me a solid 4 months to be good in kz2, and even then there are those people who just destroy the game.

Try playing a decent team. You can't just use cover, one person will knock you over with a smoke grenade, then all four Lancer you as you get back up. Also try KoTH, you can't hide, and you need a godly shotgun to survive just one wave of half-decent enemies.

Killzone is such a boring game to watch. You cannot just run around gun blazing since the guns have such high recoil and the controls are so sluggish. You basically have to play tactically make little moves and just control burst when you see someone. It is not as good of a game than I thought it would be when I bought it the other day... Might be your connection, or might be the distance. If you snipe from far, it takes couple seconds till the bullet actually reaches the person body, just like in real life. If you shot full clip, most likely that you missed few times.

In order to get a ribbon, you must get 10 kills with a sniper rifle. Its frustrating, i know, but i got through it and all you need is patience and a lil bit of luck :)
