It's sad to see things happen like this. It's true that it's your choice whether or not your attitude is affected by bullying, but every rude word, gesture, and action make it harder and harder. Don't make things harder for someone, no matter what you believe their condition is. This reminds me of a wonderful Mormon Message: "Be BIG, don't BELITTLE. Lift others up as Christ would." No matter your religion, this message should ring true.

They are essentially just genetic mutations of their parents and haven't experienced enough life to think for themselves and go off on their own and honestly the assholes of the world are the people from high school who never grew up. im 14 im in year 10 & i have been bullied from year 2, it isnt as bad as before but i still get picked on for the way i look and dress, it isnt a nice thing to go through but i am one of the lucky ones i have my friends to help me,

I've been bullied my entire life, from before I started school on through high school. There was a difference between me and them, I knew how to stand up for myself, I took down anyone who tried in middle school and high school. People knew that I wasn't going to stand for it. I know bullying is hard, but those people, those words, they aren't worth your life. Your life is more precious than what they see... I just wished sometimes that the victims saw that just like me...

Bullying exists everywhere...I was born, grew up and live in Argentina, and I was victim of bullying (not anymore, but I was because I wasn't good at sports and I was a clever kid). But talk to those who do, if that someone is God, a dog or something else doesn't really matter. Just talk to someone who'll make you feel better. I live in Australia but i don't think that bullying here is HALF as bad as it is in America. The girls here in Oz give the occasional smirk and stuff but we don't really get physically violent .....
happened something simillar in my school. a girl she dressed like an emo but she wasn't, and eveyone said that she was. a boy bullied her every school day of the year. and then, one day she got angry and harmed his arm with a knife.
i rarely ever see people get bullied in school like i see the occasional smirk from person to person but i dont see like the bullies taking lunch money and those types of things.
during my elementary years, i get bullied too much, my guy classmates shout infront of me, and during recess I'm the only one left in the classroom, at that times I was so sad, but I will not be on the point of taking away my life just for that. @airsoftking12111 That is not true... You can't pick yourself back up when you are constantly thinking about death. You need help from a counsellor and/or your friends and family. I believe most people who feel suicidal are depressed, meaning that their state of mind is different. I find it highly insulting for you to say suicide is for the weak, but it's your opinion. It's unrealistic to think you can solve all of your problems alone when you're suicidal; it's a battle against yourself.

I was ALMOST bullied in Grade 6. In the beggining of the year, I heard people behind me saying my name, then "fat!", then I told my parents and the teacher about it, and it all stopped! I'm in Grade 8 now, and I'm having a good life in school! I'm a bit nervous for high school though LOL!

There was a difference between me and them, I knew how to stand up for myself, I took down anyone who tried in middle school and high school. People knew that I wasn't going to stand for it. I believe most people who feel suicidal are depressed, meaning that their state of mind is different. I find it highly insulting for you to say suicide is for the weak, but it's your opinion. It's unrealistic to think you can solve all of your problems alone when you're suicidal; it's a battle against yourself.

I wasn't going to give up like that. No I wasn't alive 50 years ago but society was less worried about feelings. @wonderwallwonder I think it's just that we Americans are weaker. People joke and tease but these videos make it sound like people are offing themselves left and right. Our society has grown increasingly worried about hurting feelings through being too direct. People are weaker know then they were 50 years ago.

@Helmiuh I know, i mean bullying is everywere but i've never seen in my country so many dead people for those reasons. I think i've never heared about one case about bully that ends up in suicide.

@wonderwallwonder here in Peru is kinda different. Never gets physical but kids can be quite offensive, but never let the bullied kid alone and friendless. I mean...they mock of their own friends, but also treat him nice sometimes.

Every where in the U.S., there is bullying, and for the dumbest reasons.
Not all take place in schools.
It can happen in the neighborhood or even on the job.
I've been a victim in all three circumstances, but I think school bullying is by far the worst.

You've obviously too ignorant EVERY school has problems like these. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. I've been to schools in Germany and got treated the same, bullied the same as I got bullied here in the US of A.
You can't judge if you haven't been in our shoes. You've had a good life, not being bullied or harmed.
It's not just in America and your school systems aren't so high and mighty that they don't have bullies. I pretty sure they do, you're just too blind to see it.

He have bullying in Argentina! i'm from Córdoba, and i've been bullied so bad, that i even tried to commit suicide when i was 17... Our bullying might be different, or maybe you don't want to see that we have bullying, but we have it and it's awfull...
Right now i'm at the States, studying as an exchange student and i'm being treated just perfect... thank God, at my college, I don't see bullying...
