I love Albania too, the people and places are both great. I fear for the cities that have so much fascinating history embedded in them, that the wish to modernise will cause the destruction of much of the rich cultural history of their built environment. Albanian cities are beautiful, they have ancient street patterns and beautiful wide boulevards (I think partly due to the communist regime - and yet still an interesting layer of history). Don't destroy your irreplaceable cities!

I'm so upset at the fact that I couldn't visit Tirana when I had the chance. I went to Kosove 2 years ago with my parents and my brother, and went all around. We then went to Albania, and went to Kruja, Durres, Saranda, and to Shkodra too, but we didn't go to Tirana. I can't remember why, but seeing this video makes me realize just how much I missed out on...I'm planning on moving to Tirana when I graduate from school, and manage to get a job and make some money first...

The people of Albania have suffered a lot during the past decades. I'm glad happier times have come and I'm sure things will keep getting better.

Many people here in Greece have formed a terrible impression about Albanians, but I'm sure "bad" Albanians are only a minority. Would love to visit your country one day...so close but so different and unique!
