  • damn.. i miss my 95 talon tsi.. had a lot of good memories with that thing. It was beast as hell too.

  • this is beautiful

  • seatbelt first lol

  • @xzuesx and haircut 2nd... haha

  • Has anyone had an eclipse that they didnt have to work on like a job, ive had 2 turbo and regular and now i hate them they took up more time than anything i feel like i wasted my life fixing the pieces of crap, but at first i was in love with them. Anyone else go through this crazy dilemma??

  • @geezybeezy420 yes i have. and i didnt even have a turbo. i replaced so many parts. the cars look absolutely beautiful but i would never put myself through another eclipse again. my next car will probably be a new lancer ralliart. apparently, with mitsubishi, i havent learned my lesson haha.

  • hey do u have a cat on this car? or is it just 3 inch straight pipe all teh way back

  • @cmills5081 Pretty sure its just a straight pipe. I haven't owned this car for years so my memory might be off, but I'm almost positive it didn't have a cat.

  • 3 inch straight pipe sounds better lol and louder lol

  • sounds different from my bro's 99 gst apexi. he didn't have downpipe. it was a deeper tone. yours kinda raspy.

  • @jthaoz Its much much deeper in real life. Most cars don't sound anything like they do in real life on camera.

  • hks hi power or apexi n1.... after hearing yours... n1 get's my money... going to ebay right now lmao

jdm ftw... eclipse aren't jdm... they were made in illinois, usa...

  • sexyyy

  • is it just the apexi n1 or do you have a apexi gt downpipe? I want mine to sound just like yours.

  • @kouruleoblaze It had a downpipe too, not sure of the brand. That was already on the car when I bought it.

  • @stephentard ah ok. well I guess i'll experiment. hopefully get the sound i'm looking for.

  • JDM; FTW!

  • Slow gear shift :P

  • what kind of rims are those? any 1 have any idea

  • @Darusthewarlock They are 17" ADR Competitions without the center caps.

  • i wanted a gsx but i heard alot of bad things bout them.......

  • @hiluss heard wrong man.. they do have gasket problems but all you gotta do is replace once every couple of years.. alternator problems as well but very small issues.

  • yeah. i knew a guy who bought a gsx and it caugt fire when he put a DC Sports strut bar in it. he didnt even have the car for a week. i felt so bad.

  • @SmartassCommentary haha my brothers gsx motor went the 2nd week he had it ..

  • for example?

  • @Th3DooM headgasket went then while checking out the headgasket....piston were done

  • looks auto?

  • Its definitely not, its a manual and it had a act 2600 clutch

  • Omg that's my affordable dream car :)

  • That's my dream car affordable or not lol :)

  • how much is it dropped?

  • awesome ride, love the oem everything lol

  • what is a good engine to put in an eclipse gsx

  • The one that comes in them is just fine, but if anything swap in the older (6 bolt) version of the engine that comes in the early 1g's.

  • is dis your first car or sumthing.? ad how much yu pay for your exhaust .?

  • No its not my first, but the exhaust is an apexi n1 catback. It came on the car when I got it so I don't know how much it was.

  • @stephentard hmm you wrote in the description that its a turbo back?

  • @4B11T Yes, turbo back means, the exhaust is modified from the turbo to the back of the car. So everything after the turbo (which includes the downpipe, but not the exhaust manifold).

  • a 1990 eclipse gsx engine 6 bolt 4g63 or if you got mad cash evo 8 4g63

  • @elqimporta Yes. Not this: ->7 bolt= Crank walk.

  • @elqimporta you would rather a 91 or 92 6 bolt motor as the 90 is very hard to find and 90s were so different from the others i would rather stay away. and also, no way on the evo 8 motor as it is the wrong orientation as it faces the same way as the 420a, you must have gotten the idea from forza, the proper evo motors would be an evo 1-3 as after that 4-9 all have the same orientation. great sounding exhaust as well, i have it on my 96 galant and its really deep. i love it,

  • @puranger52 why would you want to get rid of the 4g63?

  • sounds sweeeet

  • how much was the exhaust sounds good

and how much did you drop your car

  • it sounds good just its way to loud

  • datz not loud

  • I have a TSi AWD, i was wondering what kind of side skirts out had on that, they look sick, im looking for a set but alot of the aftermarket ones look riced to hell. I just ordered that exhaust as well, nice vid.

  • The sideskirts on this car? They are the stock 97-99 eclipse ones available on any 97-99 eclipse (even the non turbo ones).

  • its a turbo car man meaning warming up is very necessary

  • ORLY??!?

It was already warm. I warmed it up for the purpose of making this video because the people that were buying it wanted to see it running.

  • cool down of the turbo is also very improtant. Unless you use DSMLink

  • You can get the motor warm without getting the turbo super hot. If you aren't getting into boost you don't really need to let a turbo cool down. However its still spinning some, so its warm enough that it didn't hurt anything when I started it up and took off fast like that. Trust me I take very good care of my cars.

  • holy crap thats an awesome looking car, thank you for not putting a body kit or anything on it

  • i was wondering if this was a automatic.

  • nope its a 5 speed

  • nope u can tell its a 5 speed

  • wat size of rims look nice bro

  • They are 17's, the center cap was also taken out on them. They were on the car when I got them. I personally wasn't a huge fan of them, but they aren't bad.

  • i wanna see a lunch brther man lol jokin but thats a clean dsm

  • is your eclipse lowered? what kind of rims are those?

  • Yeah its lowered. As for the wheels, sorry I can't remember anymore, the car was sold a while ago. They came with the car so I don't really know which ones they are, but in this video the center caps were taken out. I think they looked better that way.

  • how low? sorry i dont knbow how much to lower mine, down wanna take the bumper out over a speed bump

  • Again, I'm not sure since it was already lowered when I bought the car.

Search for a website called DSMTuners and there will be plenty of examples there for you to decide how much you want to lower your car.

  • Get the Eibach pro kit, it drops it an 1.25 inches all the way around.

  • what is the clearance then because my driveway is pretty steep

  • I went out to my garage and measured. The front bumper has a 5 inch ground clearance. If your driveway is really steep IDK if I would lower it.

  • really? whats the stock clearance, well i suppose i could get my lazy but off the computer and go check, whuts ur email. i will email you about this. and ill take pics of my driveway.... or you can email me at sergeantsprinkles (@) gmail (.) com

  • yeah but i want the struts and shocks, not just the spirngs. using anything stock with aftermarket screws up the allignment. front wheels look like this \\ (engine) //

    // (trunk) \\

  • I know, I put KYB struts and shocks on mine when I lowered it. Plus I put a camber kit on it.

  • u sold ur gsx

    why???????????????

  • Someone bought it for double what I had into it. Hard to pass a deal like that up.

  • i have a 420a and i hate my car that much more everytime i see a gsx. ugh i hate that god damn thing

  • sellling my 99 eclipse 420a for a 95 eclipse 4g63

  • whys that?...if you don't mind explaining

  • Hes selling his 99 non-turbo eclipse to buy a turbo one. Sure you can turbo the 420a, but its just not as good of a platform as the 4g63.

  • Got you!...Thanks for explaning. Trying to learn!

  • you can change that the 4g63 engine will drop right in place of the 420a motor all you need is the mounts for the 4g63 im doing that to mine in a couple weeks.

  • thats going to cost you way more than you think it will probably, a 4g63 motor is completely mounted in a different direction than the 420a, your going to have to replace the entire drivetrain power steering, everything for that to work.

  • It is cheaper to sell the n/a and purchase a turbo dsm than to do the swap.

  • ok got you thanks

  • whats the diff. from a turbo back

  • Most exhaust systems are cat-back (replace the pipes from the catalytic converter to the back) and a turbo-back just means it replaces all of the exhaust pipes after the turbo.

  • not quite true, most aren't catback, just catbacks are generally cheaper. but yeah, as he said, the name is pretty much self explanatory, turbo back=back of the turbo. catback=back of the cat.

  • I got to admit, that is quiet for a turboback.

It doesn't matter, it doesn't sound shitty!

    It is teh secks.

  • if it's a turboback then it's friggin weak, i had a turboback on my 1g and it was way more better sounding than that one and louder to.. must have been the 16g i had on there. still sounds good

  • if its a turboback..he doesnt need the downpipe idiot..haha

    sounds nice though bro..

  • Sounds Real Nice! All You Need Now Is The Apexi N1 Downpipe, And It'll Really Be Soundin Right!!
