The girls from high competition synchronized swimming teams actually take ballet lessons. It's quite an acheivement to be a good swimmer AND a good dancer.
The people laughing in the background is so disrespectful.
This must be the hardest thing to do: they're in the water; they have to take breaths; and they can't hear the music 75% of the time and they have to choregraph deaf, basically.
unfortunately I was filming this with our digital camera and my wife didn't want to put too much video on it as we still had 5 days left in Cuba. Sorry.

there are underwater speakers specially fror this...the same ones that synchro. swimmers use for competitions.

I'd rather watch fish swimming around - or even otters - the film was choppy - bad quality - and the people laughing were so distracting.

The synchronized swimming played are very fantastic. The girls are pretty and they moves are very wonderful. It is good for people to look at.

Wouldn't it be more difficult in deeper water? If the water is that shallow, the swimmers can stand (or handstand) on the bottom instead of sculling.
They do need to be careful diving into the pool though. A lot of head & neck injuries result from diving into shallow water.
