Well it's just a lot of musicians and bands today are writing music that is very political and sometimes it just gets really tiring. You can approach people in other ways too and not be pointless. Like music that can deliver the message of courage or hope and many many things that are not political yet there's still meaning to it. I'm just tired of all this political crap. There's a lot of music out there that has meaning and isn't one bit political.

People today are terribly introverted, and if the song's not directly about them or about real issues in the world they don't want to hear about it. Go tell Bob Dylan or John Lennon or any other musician who devoted his life to making a change and tell him that his music was nothing but "political crap". I'd say it would be better if more bands would speak for what they believe, and if their fans can't look on a level of though greater than the individual then I think that's their loss.
