well what you need to do is think before you type. i know who the whitakers are and those jumps are defently NOT 150.-1.60.the whitakers are never at the RDS because they dont have horses that jump 1.60!!!just 1.40s or sometimes 1.50 rarely!!!

Oh my what a beautiful horse. I love that canter! If you look at videos of the FEI jumper, Okidoki (who is not of this world anymore) they have a very similar canter. I love the way it looks. This is such a gorgeous horse. He an Oldenburg?

@IrishBade if they arent 1.50, then they must be bigger, because wings usually go up to about 1.60-1.65, and this is near the top of the wings, and you can see the height when the horse lands.

He is an AMAZING Rider! He is VERY Light Handed for a Male. Most Male Riders are VERY Strong Handed...thats why Horses tend to lean towards Women Riders. But he is a VERY Light Seated and Soft Rider! I LOVE his Coloured Stallion! Ya never see too many of those at this Level! And that Stallion can go a tad higher! AWESOME Round John and Utah!

@subimedia I think its the fact that Pintos are not often seen in the show jumping arena. However, i know a purebred APHA mare than can jump 4.5 ft trotting so it all depends on the horse i guess :]

@subimedia - the horse (or the few mares that jump) need very good Thoroughbred genes. A pure bred Draught horse can't jump an Olympic track.

ohh yeah, it changes a lot from horse to horse and there r some stallions that can be very difficult (geldings and mares can be that way to) but when ur riding a stallion on a course its like riding any other horse.

example-my trainer has a stallion that i didnt even know was a stallion until he told me and i had been jumping and riding him just like a gelding. i rest my case.

My old horse was related to this stallion. His name was Tsikovsky (China). A chestnut gelding, absolutely BEAUTIFUL horse and show jumper, but he had to be put down a couple of years ago, Due to suspensary ligament problems :(

i love seeing coloureds jump at this level - its so unusual to see them. he makes it look so effortless beautiful round and stunning horse.

Since this video was taken Utah has developed into an outstanding horse. He has been placed in 3/4 and 5* FEI shows and came runner up and won a 1.55 Class at a 4* show in Holland. He will be jumping at the big show in Brazil next weekend. The video of Utah winning last weekend will be on this channel shortly.

It took his owner a year to put Utah right after ben had him but he's flying now with John & in my opinion, never better. My mare's in foal to Utah !!

my aunts gt a foal ti tht stallion it got backed last year and its jumpin 1.85 loose. hes got he most laid bak temperment and a willing attitude towards his work.if you can afford the stud fee its a worthwhile investment.

@Sabley Paint is a breed. So he isn't a paint. Pinto is a coloring, so you could call him pinto, but in different areas in the world they have different terms for what might be referred to as a pinto.
