Dude, their primitive recording technology couldn't keep up with the mad mouth movements of this scattin' fool! Not enough frames for that hep cat's jive.
@wizzard1956 Pretty much all artists draw influence from the great blues and jazz men from the good ole days. in fact Big Boi from outkast uses lines right from Cabs songs in his.
Cab had so much soul and passion in his music, so pretty much all artists today draw from him. Knowingly or not.
and the reason; the children aren't introduced to music and any arts at young ages these days. growing up and watching and also hearing locally, music all kinds, from jazz, country, soul, blues, rock ,roll, and i enjoy them all,but to even think about finding enjoyabe entertainment is hard at these times i love the art of instrument painting the picture,CAB was a musical MONSTER and those BAND MEMBERS wow HIS BAND gotta see the video for( some of these days) WOW WOW WOW
and to think ;what concert goers receive today, amazing how they really appreciated not just sounds but music to accompany LOVE IT,some caught the groove, cab had that GIFT his entire ensemble had the talent.....
breathtaking!

@cyclonefury27 Has nothing to do with "primitive recording". This was actually "voiced over".

This is actually from 1937! It's from the 1937 short called "Hi-De-Ho", not to be confused with the 1934 short called "Cab Calloway's Hi-De-Ho"! :)
