I think Indian directors simply suck in horror genre. Ram Gopal Varma only had a few good horror movies that were worth a scare. The Ramsey bros were a hit in the 80s due to lack to computer technology but now they suck horribly. Out in the western world, M. Night Shamaylan sucks big ass too after few good flicks early in his career. I think Indian directors should stop making asses out of themselves by making horror monstrosities.
