She has the range, she is able to sing but she is an exceptional singer because she is still nobody at the stage. That is why the audience likes to remember the past. Emotions, gentleness... Mariah Carey, for instance. And especially HER SCHOOL of Hero!

I'm tired of hearing that Melanie is just a "flop" with "no x factor" because she sang Mariah and Whitney songs. People who make this argument assume that Mariah/Whitney-like performers can no longer exist. These people are such ignorant low-life flops who do not understand that sometimes, a angelic voice like Whitney and Mariah is enough for a contestant to win the X Factor. It just takes someone talented enough to fill this mold and Melanie is DEFINITELY talented enough to fill this mold.

Its going to be a wonderful thing to listen to her make her own mark on the music industry, and yet, she already has.
