The circuit it's wrong and there's not such thing as "pain sensors"...it's call nociceptors....and so far there is some controversy about their functions and how their information it's processed in the spinal cord. Chek...Wall Gate theory vs Specificity theory. In regard with the circuit...it's describing a tendon organ receptor connected to a gama motor neuron. Slow nociceptors projects directly to the substantia gelatinosa (SG Lamina IIi and IIo) on the superficial dorsal horn.
