I cut High school with two of my buddies to see the cult classic Vanishing Point back in 1971 and never forgot that white fucking challenger. It stuck in my head to this very day and back in 2010 I walked into a Dodge dealership and ordered me a white Hemi Challenger with no stripes and no sunroof top and now I feel like Kowalski. What a fucken trip man. I am so glad I got this car.

@SSRogue88 you may be right but I remember a friends white GTX with the 440 Super Magnum and hood latch pins. To this day may favorite car with the probable exception of the Veyron!! Oh and when I was a senior in HS one friend had a MOPAR superbird in the great purple and white and the other had a vette with the 454. of course I drove a plymouth valiant. Never big with the ladies :)

I watched this movie (in England) as a 17 year old. Great movie, great scenery and the ultimate American muscle car. One thing always bothered me at the time - Kowalski was supposed to be delivering the car brand new to its first owner. Even without the incident with the earth moving equipment at the end I wouldn't want to have taken delivery.

Do you remember, police had struggle to spell Kowalski's first name? I think he has polish origin. "Last American hero, to whom speed means freedom of his soul" was a Pole :D. I love this movie. By the way - I think main character in this movie is not Kowalski, but Mr. Dodge Challenger, born in 1970.

Regards to all fans of this movie and old Americans classic muscle cars. Shame, I can't see such cars very often in Europe. Cars with soul.
