Your video made me cry so very hard ... thank you for posting this. I thought I was the only person who associated this song with the loss of a very-much-loved cat. I see I was wrong. R.I.P. Kenya, my 23lb big little boy (1993 - 2006). I know he and your Penelope are sitting together in the sun waiting and watching for us just the other side of the Bridge.

awww. i had a cat a bit like her. she only shed in soft little clumps her white undercoat & i saved some of them, and her hair was so fine, could stretched like the finest spider webs. she lived 20 years. best lady i ever knew. ♥
@poodlesusan I still have her mother. She's beautiful and has a bit more majestic look about her than Penelope had. Penny was more "cute". She was smaller and had shorter legs. We miss her so bad. So does Poppy. Her mother cat.
@batlady2 aw, i think those are called 'cobby legs'? lol ♥ are they purebred persians, or some other breed? i think mine was poss. a mix of something called 'chantilly tiffany', lol. her eyes are exactly like theirs, but her undercoat fluffy white/grey like your penny. beautiful. thank you for such visually rich videos.
@poodlesusan They are silver shaded full breed Persians. Both of them were rescued by a shelter. There are rescue shelters that deal only with Persian cats. The adoption fee is a bit higher but they are so worth it. So many people throw them away because they find out after getting them that they require a lot of care because of their long fur and teary eyes. I would never throw any kitty away ever.
