She is very similar to Miss Gulch from Wizard of Oz - her dislike of dogs, the threat to have Billy's dog put down, the fact she has a cat. The feet sticking out seems to be another nod to Wizard of Oz - it reminds me of the witch of the East's feet.

I think it's funny how Mrs. Deagle was thrown out of her second story window, but I don't think that the speed that she was going up the stairs would give her that type of trajectory. The video showed her moving more slowly as she approached the second floor than what she was moving within the first few seconds of when she accelerated from a standstill. I still think that this part of the movie is hilarious though. This movie sure does bring back good memories, I love the 80's.
