  • Now this ROCKS Love this tune

  • @refort1 Me too.

  • THIS IS REAL JAM SESSION MUSIC"HEAR", LIVE AT THAT!!!!!!!

  • RIP Cozy 13 years ago today.......

  • "......so heads down and we'll see you at the end".

    Simply amazing.

  • "ALL STAR" jam session that is kicking music ASS!!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • This is without a doubt one of the BEST jam sessions EVER!!!

  • Rocks!

  • Rocks!

  • Absolutely excellent. Thank you. The OtT album was one of Cozy's best. Real musicians.

  • I like when the light hits the Les Paul at the right angle. You get to see the hints of wear in the finish. Means it's been played for all it's worth. Just like the grime on a maple neck that's permanently etched in the wood. I LOVE THAT! Can't wait til my Telecaster starts to get that look.

  • cozy powell and max middleton !!

  • @alexisferrut That was enough to get me in the door. I knew those two wouldn't disappoint!

  • wwwwwwoooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! saw cozy and met him on down to earth tour, great guy great drummer..................................sadly missed

  • why is this band? cozzy powell band? or why??

  • fuckkkkkkkkkkk this is fucking great

  • WTF!? I'm a fan Classic Rock (DP Family Tree etc etc) but never knew this combo existed. I was only about 5 at the time right enough, ha ha. Yeah good stuff , I'll need to check out that album.

  • Over the top is a fantastic album! I still listen to it every once in a while.

  • on the original album version of killer the guitarist was Gary Moore.

  • powell é powell !!!!

  • Love the guitar lick in sync with the drums at 1:21

  • Total KICK ASS jam session!!!!!!!!

  • This reminds me of Nicko Mcbrain- Rhythm of the Beast!

  • He even made Fusion/Jazz-Rock sound heavy! He proved that the power and the sound of a drummer is more important than technics and "over the top skills".

  • Great stuff!! Fantastic lineup...It's been a while since I heard this! A touch of Stragazer in that drum intro I think:) RIP Cozy

  • Yes, thanks. My favourite version of The Loner, it was the b-side of Over The Top. Clem was awesome on this. Fanfuckingtastic. God I love YouTube!!!!

  • Thank you so much

  • Absolute classic never saw it played live before gorgeous!

  • Wow...I remember seeing this on T.V. as an impressionable lad. They were better times ......that's for sure.

  • great ...saw Bruce with Clempson a couple o times back in the early eighties but id missed this on the telly so thank u . ....P.S does anyone have the Jack Bruce and Friends Whisle test in concert from 1981? what iwouldnt give 2 c that again..(.me mother taped over it with the royal wedding bless her)..does anybody even remenber it? much better than the Rockpallast gig....

  • Thank you very much dirdami for this rare snippet.

  • I've been going crazy looking for a clip of this version of The Loner. Thanks very much for posting it!

  • Thanks for Upload!! This is Great.

  • fantastic... got this album ... he did release 1 single off it called "theme one" met them in 77 backstage oxford...

  • Hell, Don Airey is with this line up too???!!!

  • This is awesome, Max Middleton, Jack Bruce and Clem Clemson !!! Cozy at its best. Clemson and Middleton amazing musicians that were under-rated, but not by us connosiers that remember this guys from the Jeff Beck group and Humble Pie.

  • JBG & Humble Pie. Now you're talking, hiwattcarl ;-).

  • And don't forget Colosseum I (Clem) and II (Airey) and Hummingbird!

  • Great high energy rock fusion from a golden era when people like Cozy, Gary Moore, Gary Boyle, Rod Argent, Brand X etc where just burning it up!!! And Max is just the most underrated player and writer - he was fundamental to Jeff B's success with those fusion albums!

  • i really wanna watch the live version of other his numbers included in his solo album.

  • Cozy Powell ROCKS!!!

  • No one is going to talk about Max Middleton??

He MADE the Jeff Beck Orange album with his keyboards.....He's the best.

  • max middleton blew me away with his funky playing

  • you mean [blow by blow] and [weird]? really fabulous albums.

  • he was also a member of the jeff beck group-1971-1972-cozy -drums,bobby tench-vocals and rythum guitar, clive chaman-bass and of course jeff beck,he later appeared on blow by blow

  • Right,..sorry,..our group just got used to calling blow by blow the "orange" album, because of the cover.

  • "Wired".

  • I totally agree--and never forget, he co-wrote "The Loner" (Sure sounds like a tribute to Beck, doesn't it?)

  • middleton is a BEAST on the keys

  • Now this is real M-U-S-I-C.

    Guys that can actually PLAY!

    R.I.P. Cozy

    We miss ya brother!

  • Ah music to my ears a beautiful original version of The Loner excellent and of course killer!

  • Thank you for post from japan.

This is so great and rare.

I hope you to post more of OGWT clips!

  • A big thank you from denmark

  • Thank God!!.I`ve been looking for this for over 15 yrs since i lost the video i had of this.

Thank you for posting this,Great Stuff , Cheers!!.

  • Boy that Goldtop Les Paul really does have alot of bite! Close your eyes, and Clem sounds like Beck! Clempson to me always looked like a rich kid that got a guitar for Christmas, and just latched into a band without any effort. Or talent. But here-with the "Killer" groove, there are no goofy grins-the guys are INTO IT. The unison riffs are classical in nature-so I can't call it jazz-guess it's just really good rock fusion!

    Fantastic post. Thanks.

  • Thank you for posting this...brilliant.

  • Cozy Powell, Jeff Beck, and Jack Bruce would have been a great successor to Cream.

  • does clem clempson played sweet poison's solo?

  • clem clempson is one of the best, he played brilliant on the colosseum live.

  • Great drummer!

  • beilliant !!! pity too much camera on the guitar considering it was about the drummer and his line up

  • What a great line-up. Too bad they never toured.

  • fantastic!!!!

  • kool
