I can't see how getting the US Army in will change anything.. what are they going to do that police already haven't? Getting the US Army is like 'we now mean business' ... so this suggests harsh and direct action towards the protesters? Instead of police batons will it be rifle butts? .. against former vets aswell? Read recent bloomber report (Mark Pittman, bloomberg journalist sued the fed - he's dead) on how 7.7 trillion was loaned out to save large US and international banks (including billions to Gaddafi bank of libya). These banks have consolidated trillions in wealth in last 3 years, at expense of 99%, while driving debt from 9 to 15 trillion.

They steal trillions and don't produce anything of value (all they do is gamble with your money).

You would have to be an idiot not to protest

OWS is not a socialist movement. It's a protest against corporate greed, income inequality, and ridiculous government policies and tax cuts catering to the 1%. @Sumwun23 OWS is a coalition of movements but there are many strong socialist elements in it. Denying this is unnecessary. Furthermore, it is not about protest or compaint. It is about pushing for a systemic change, new and sustainable way of life, putting human dignity above everything else, democratization of the economy, transition to a real democracy where people actually exercise their legitimate power.
