Nice, great for the breed! Only thing that I didn't like was requiring a training collar. I don't like them. I use regular collars, and front clip harnesses.

The American Pit Bull Terrier is historically known as a good family pet - think about it, the breed has existed for 200 years, yet only in the last 30 or so years has the breed come under fire for being "aggressive". Before Pit Bulls, it was Rottweilers, and before Rottweilers, it was Dobermans, and before that, German Shepherd Dogs, and so on. One day another breed will replace the Pit Bull, and it may be YOUR breed.

they do it because thats all they know, they want to make their owner happy, because its been taught to fight, made dog aggressive - not human aggressive.

I have a red nosed pitt bull and he looks just like the one in John Shipe's video. My pitt is the sweetest dog anyone could have. He has nothing but love and playfulness in him. He loves everyone that comes to the house and he is the GREATEST when you're sick. I am very ill and I could not fight as strong as I am if it wasn't for this dog's loyalty and love for me. He is only 2 (or 14 in dog years) and as sad as it sounds, I am glad that I will pass before he does. He is the best dog I ever had!

It depends on how you raise them. Since you were raised with them you know how they really are. It depends on how you treat and raise them. I hope you continue to own them even when you get older and go out on your own. Their great dogs!! I'm glad theres young people out there who see how they are

Thank you for doing so much to help this breed. It is a wonderful breed. My Chihuahua had more of the 'pit' attitude than my American Bulldog. They were both wonderful dogs, but my Bulldog was a rescue and much more loving, possibly because of it. Thank you again for helping the image of this wonderful breed!

in estonian, but i live in Spain for years now and i think it s the worse place to have that breed :( the people here don t know how to treat pits. I have a 4 year old sweetiest pit and i always get stopped by the police :((( i wish we would have people like that here :(

Pitbulls are not for everyone but for the right owners there is no better dog. This is true for all the bully breeds. I am so glad to see that some people still get it and this guy who does these classes is awsome. I wish there was more like him.

@Brethrenunited I agree with you. But anyone could have a bully breed from a puppy, they are just like every other dog. If you bring a up a baby golden just like a baby pitty, it's going to be the same way but with a different personality. that statement is only true when you get the dog from a shelter with a bad history. But other then that i agree with you :)
