  • Love this sONG!! first herd it on the Friday night lights soundtrack and been obsessed ever since

  • omg i love his voice and his lyrics! and his guitar playing is really amazing. He sounds alot like bob dylan..love him too. Im surprised this guy isn't very well known, hes super talented! his songs are beautiful..

  • ah god fuck yes

  • I saw him open for Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band, and it blew my mind. I'm not sure if they did this at every show but for two of his songs Macey Taylor and Nik Freitas from Conor's band played bass and drums behind Bondy. It was an astounding experience.

  • Beautiful

  • Saw A A a couple of weeks ago at The Academy in Manchester, England. He was supporting The Felice Brothers. He had a bad throat but his voice was amazing as were his songs.

  • its gotta b the boot stomp

  • i bloody love this guy..only discovered the album last year. Cant stop listening to it. And whoever made this video, its really nciely recorded. He's supporting the Felice Brothers on their European tour in Oct, new album in September. Can't wait!!!

  • I am completely and utterly astounded by this guy's voice. He is just unreal.

  • he reminds me of bob dylan

  • does anybody know what chords he's playing in killed myself when I was young? i can't make it out.

  • At least on the album it sounds like its just E, A, and Bm

  • drop-D, capoed at second fret. chords are D (at first just on bass strings), B-suspended (2nd fret 5th string, 5th fret 4th string), A and G (up on the 5th fret because the bass string is dropped to D).

  • awesome, thanks, works great

  • Hey monty4284. What exactly did Bondy say to you? Didn't he mind you filming?

  • He just said hello and thanked my friends and I for being there. Funnily enough, there were only about 7 or 8 people at that show. I'd been following him and filming the shows for a couple of days so he knew us by then.

  • 7 or 8? That's interesting! Especially because he was for example championed by the Uncut magazine. He should be better-known, he writes great songs.

  • We know, his name is Scott Bondy and he was in some corporate rock band who wanted to bank off the sucess of Nirvana and he got tired of the b/s, so he left and started playing music true to his heart on an independent record label where he was free to be true to himself. This is a prime example of why mainstream corporate-fused music SUCKS!!!

  • @ckad79 he en)oyed verbena. souls for sale was well before dave grohl found them and produced their second album. they weren't corporate fused. Him and anne broke things off and he wanted to do something else.

  • he repeates almost everyline twice in all of his songs.

  • you ever heard of blues???

  • what a bad ass.

  • he was great opening for bon iver. awesome night.

  • I wish he'd come to SLC with Bon Iver.

  • His name is Scott Bondy .He had a very good rock band called Verbena in the late 90's .the cds can be found very cheap on amazon . I bought one for a penny! The music is quite a bit louder .than this acoustic stuff though. Thanks for posting Monty

  • pwnzor!
