  • Awesome. Just plain awesome.

  • He's off his tits here !! haha :)

  • супер!!!!!!!!

  • RIP

  • Of course it's lousy he's drunk! A legend. Too bad he's not living. rip

  • muy grosso ver esto !!!

  • muy pero muy bueno!!!!

  • don't get me wrong. i like robert palmer, but THIS version of the song was pretty lousy.

  • Thanks for being POSITIVE Yall. Im the BG voc. that shared the stage with him. I really enjoyed his energy! He sang with ALL HIS HEART! RIP Robert thanks for the memory!

  • What happened to his voice here? I saw a live (I think it was live) performance of Why Get Up that was filmed in 2003 and his voice sounded much better.

  • Well .... Why get up is a very easy song to sing.... and when he did it , he was sober...

simply irresistable is at the upper baritone range / low tenor.... and most importantly.. he is twisted beyond comprehension in this clip hahaha :-)

take a look at the " mama talk to your daughter " from this same night... its a bit more reputable lol

  • great song by a great artist :)

  • You can see he looks older and he doesnt have the voice he had... Drinking, smoking and he didnt even want to hear for any fitness or any exercise... I dont know what i would give to see him singing again live... Really miss him, but... He left us many evergreen songs and tunes, and im sure that he was good father and husband. Rest in peace, Robert!

  • don't want to criticise palmer overly as this was a party performance and he was p'd, it was hard to listen to tho.

don't get all the comments saying how brilliant a performance it was cos it blatantly wasn't. When he did this song on letterman it was GODLIKE by palmer, a legendary performance.

  • He was very good singer!!

  • The bitch singer remembered the fucking lyrics...

  • this was 2 months before he died.

  • Palmer had no color, no race! He could play anywhere and draw a huge crowd. I saw him play in Harlem, the place sold out and about 60 percent of the crowd was black and young..

  • ~I just love his voice

  • WHERE R THE MODELS!!

  • I wonder what he died of? You're right...he does resemble Ronald Reagan here. He always wore a tie and suit tho. He sure had loads of singing talent!! I like it when he sang with Rod Stewart also. TY for posting this tribute. Awesome. I hate it with the girls.

  • heart attack :(

from years of smoking, drinking and living life

  • andy taylor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LMAO

Robert's clearly had a few drinks. Sounds like he was having a good time. I really don't think this performance was intended for the general public, more like a party with good friends. In fact, what exactly is "Meli Melo"?

OK, one strange comment: Maybe it's the haircut, the suit, his general "look", but he really looks kind of like Ronald Reagan here!

  • Brilliant. He could push that voice!! Hotter then a fox in a forest fire. It is obvious that Mr P is a little "tipsy" here lol. Still brilliant. Love the other 2 vids from this gig.

Thanks for uploading this SynTokyo. It breaks my heart though, one of the last gigs if not the last for Robert.

  • Simply irresistible... that`s what Robert Palmer is. :)

  • Thanks for posting these clips. Robert always has class and clearly enjoys what he does.

    Love him! RIP RP

  • Robert sings great always,always! A wonderful

man, great talent. I will love him forever.

This collection is bittersweet to me. I love it!
