heard this was put together in like an hour. also heard that she wanted to continue competing in latin and guess benji didn't want to anymore.....really cool concept, great legs on the girl and difficult choreography to master. great show of something different, impressive! Girl is truly a gifted dancer in so many styles.

i completely agree. Heidi is one of my all time favorites when it comes to wc swing, but I'm not a fan of this.

Kevin should be quite good..he used to be paired with world champion Anna Melnikova. Heidi is ranked a lot lower, but she is great at swing.

I wondered how good this lady would be when it came to real dancing and the answer would seem to be, on the evidence of this clip, that she's not that good. In addition to the criticisms already expressed, her armwork is flawed. She'd be buried by any top class Latin dancer. Get back to all that frenzied, acrobatic swing stuff that hides a host of deficiencies, Heidi!

Yea...her performances on SYTYCD would prove otherwise. She can definitely hold her own with nearly any style of dance that is given to her.

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to agree with pamela2888... Heidi is pretty much good at any partner dances that she does (especially WCS), but there is too much cross over between all of them. Her international latin ballroom has too much west coast style in it and improper latin technique. And as shown by her video here, faster in not always better!

I think your comment is good. Her legs are too bent for International Latin and she lets her feet flop around sometimes. Fun performance tho.

I think this guy is from the UK, if not that's where he was training out of. Heidi/Dmitry desolved around SYTYCD. She was training with this guy in the UK earlier this year or late last year. I believe they go back & forth to the UK and the US to train/perform/compete.
