What you guys need to keep in mind is that my point in making this video using Flstudio, was to show that dope beats can be made regardless what you use. At the end of the day, its all about choosing the right sounds, and thinking outside the box. Try hooking up some hardware to flstudio like keyboards or sound modules. Record live instruments, layer drum sounds, sample music youve never heard before..thats whats more important..not what you use.

in response to FL studio not being enough...it's all about your knowledge in it. Of course the stock sounds are crap. It was made to be basic. The plug ins make FL EVERYTHING that others aren't. If you KNOW what you're doing then you're limitless. I don't know ANYONE that knows EVERY in and out w/FL. It's too in depth and everyone does things differently I have tried Reason/Cubase/Logic and i still prefer FL over them. I import ALL sounds into FL STUDIO and use them with EASE unlike others.

appreciate the feedback, but i disagree. I think the engineers at imageline nailed it when they decided to make FL the way it is. It is hands down the most str8 forward sequencer there is. And trust me..ive worked on everything. My setup now is Fl and Reason inside of Pro-tools via rewire with Rosetta converters. Besides I let the mixing engineers worry about "quality".

All am saying is that the audio hardware is not as good as reason's or logic's. You know what though if you mix and match like all the re-wiring you do and at least you understand the quality issue that you know somebody is going to fix or try to fix, then right on FL is your money maker!

exactly...You seem to be one of the few people who understood the point of the video. wether your a novice musician, or your a pro, Fl studio is perfect for quick songs, or long elaborate dance pieces..it dont matter. Whatever you want to do, theres a way to do it in FL studio. Im not saying Flstudio is the best..We all know Pro-tools, Nuendo and Logic are way better,,but alot of people dont have the funds,time or complete understanding of these progs..and that should not hinder making music.

fruity loops is not an original producing program, none of the samples are original and chord progressions and melodies are already been sampled, it meens any kid with a 50pound setup can make a song using it, its shit i recommend slaving reason thru cubase, and battery drum sampler, as a base. You will find yourself in a great setup to start with and very user friendly

Sure, but if you want to work for a Pro studio they wont use FL. The inbuilt sounds are not Pro sounding I can tell FL songs straight away. Its good for the money as a learning tool so I take back saying its shit lol its a GOOD program. But then you might as well learn the Pro stuff straight off the bat and download Cubase/Logic and Reason for free. Long as you dont release anything commerically until you buy one of them then thats fair. I owe my career to those programs.

The only legal way of downloading steinberg programs such as cubase, hypersonic, ect. is to download the "try before buy" copy, it is exactly the same in every way buy you will need a softwar emulator, i have an original, it is a blue flash disk dedicated to give you access to steinberg samples and synths and you need it to install steinberg programs. But remember, dont try to make money using steinberg "try befor buy" products as for reason, buy the original it is an amazin program and slave it
