I've kinda removed the black/white key system for hold/latch, in FL11 whether it's hold or latch will be defined in the remote control window.

@anothergol (also FL11 will have its own Launchpad support with lots of features & some kind of simple scripting)

@frostbitestudios it's now a setting in the remote control window, you will be able to make any key a latch or hold

I got a launchpad today, how do I get fl studio to recognize it and use it as a midi controller?

@DerpandHerp It should when you just plug it in, and after that of course you have to enable it as a controller, try installing some drivers for the Launchpad and relaunching FL Studio and see if that works.
