Its weird some people are talking shit about the fact that Davey happens to be gay. When I listened to punk and hardcore (I remember this album coming out) it was about acceptance and most had a pretty heavy lean towards the left political wise. Now it seems like it has transformed into a fashion show with terrible music. Honestly, that is the total opposite of what punk and hardcore are about, but I'd imagine most who listen to it now have no idea about the origins of the music.

i got thps3 on christmas when i was 12. after playing the game for at least 3 hours straight and had listened to all the songs. this is the one i found myself scoring the most too. i would even sometimes just pause and listen to this song and dance and sing along to it even though i didnt know the words. it is the song that made me later discover the true talents of the band and how amazing their music is. and because of that it will always be . my favorite AFI song.

@suckieduckie I think it might be because when bands are unsigned they do what they want to do and after they get signed their labels start asking the band to do things for the label. I can think of examples where bands had to edit words at their label's "request" and even change their band's name, example: the beach boys. they changed their name at their record label's "request". I'm not getting involved in the argument of AFI selling out but AFI's singer didn't used to wear gold sequin shoes:)
