my dad had bells palsy. he used peppermint oil on his face and neck and it cleared it up. the doctors tried to give him steroids but he knew that wouldn't be good so he tried the oils and it worked.

he gets his essential oils from a website called doTerra. i recommend you looking it up. these would also help with the numbness and if you have joint pain or anything. there are a ton of different oils on that website that help with different things.

I've had bell's palsy and it blows!!!! It took me 3 months to get over it, and it was the worst 3 months...its not even the vanity issue of it that makes it suck! U can't eat right or drink right....brushing ur teeth is hard and it is nearly impossible to take a shower and not get shampoo in ur eye...u have to wear an eye patch to sleep because u can't close ur eye, and on top of that, people stare at u! I hope u get better soon! I know what you are feeling and it really sucks. Sorry :(
