1) I've never heard of a case in which Nike workers were forced to work 24 hours in one day, though that's not to say it hasn't happened (it's just not common)
2) If they had better alternatives, nobody would work at sweatshops. Most people who work at sweatshops are more able to support themselves than they would be had they taken a different job, say, subsistence farming, which is the other leading employer in Vietnam; lower wages, longer hours, and much worse conditions than Nike sweatshops.

2) they work for less then €5 a day making hundreds of pairs of shoes some costing over €120 a pair... there is no way to justify this as a better alternative to a worse condition job, that is just taking advantage of a poor situation...
This is an example of the utter failure that is capitalism. Down with Nike. They are an evil company. How can they make their name a trademark when in Greek mythology, Nike was a goddess.
