this song was originaly sang by a christian band (and by a guy), so the songs was originaly talking about trusting in god and saying that he is our "only hope" as the title suggests. but if in the right senario, it works as a worldly song, although it seems a bit strange to sing this to a person... but that's just me. it all depends ^^

The music is perfect on this song. The only thing is that, if u don't know the lyrics yet, the lyrics sometimes come out a nanosecond too late. But if u do know the lyrics, it's good. Its easier to hit the notes if u sing it softly, but if u sing it all out, it is a little harder on that high note part :/

It's easy for me to get the high notes and low notes. I was an alto...But you mainly have to warm up and you have to know when to change your voice...i know it sounds weird, but true. So warm up and just try...everyone has a song they can sing amazingly well and this may not be it,, but something else might...you dont know unless you try. :)
