  • You look hot in this video.

  • It's because I am half Chinese, half European.

  • BTW your roots can not be from Europe,

because you DO look like central or far eastern asian,Full stop !

or there is secret behind it ! i mean you might be adopted or there were affairs and etc

  • Thank you for telling us your story and the information you gave was great things to look out for.

  • I'm curious to know if you are curious about your Chinese ancestry? ie. what region they came from/ did they spoke Cantonese or Mandarin, etc. I'm thinking about researching my Asian roots, too.

  • climbeyourtree your such a beautiful woman.

  • I really love this story it is so special and that sort of thing (scribbled note) is more precious than any diamonds or such. What a treasure! :D I feel all cosy inside because of this story :) thanks for sharing!

  • Hi

Very good work interesting. Things happen in history

  • My family tree goes back over 250 years very precisely, but the catch is that only males were inscribed. So naturally only sons were included but no daughters or wives.

Ah ,the good old days ;-D

  • Interesting! Are you from Germany or another country? It would be interesting to see if you can track down records that would fill in some of the females. Even in the US, it can be quite tough to get much information on women ancestors. We usually change our names when we marry, and up until quite recently, we didn't leave the same paper trail our husbands, fathers and brothers did. No military conscription for us, and in the past, no property ownership...

  • I am of Palestinian decent; traditionally among Arabs regardless if Christian or Muslim, wives keep their maiden names and the offspring inherit the surname of the father. I think I could pin down some lost females in my family tree. But to be quite frankly I have a minor interest in researching them ,not for chauvinistic reasons but because it is difficult enough to keep track with my numerous family.

  • I love your story and the pictures you used to go with it. Isn't it interesting how you had a clue all this time and didn't realize it until recently.

I am now going to look at family members of my gg-grandmother to see if I can find where she went after the death of her "husband" - after she gave her children to their older 1/2 siblings.

  • Funny, no? :) Let me know how your search goes, and if you are able to find anything new about your gg-grandmother and her family!
