Of course, string theory has already detected God. The vibrating stands or strings is the audible physical voice of God. God said He (or someone said he said) God SPOKE everything into existence Genesis 1:1-3. Study the strings themselves (Mathematically of-course). I don't think its an accident that many physicists have compared the strings in string theory to sound-waves, This concept has been used through-out the christian bible for millenniums.

No, string theory can not detect God and here's my reasoning. String theory is the hypothetically universal theory of the unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity. Thus string theory and even the broader concept...M-theory is driven by quantum fluctuations within the membranes of M-theory. And remember God does not play dice. If God exists then string theory can not be right. That also implies everything is predestined. I believe in free will not fate.
