  • It doesn't work for me :/

  • does it work with mac?

  • tanks, Sorry, Thanks

  • Why make it 128x if the style is so simplistic?

  • @Engehenk i have your texturepack and i have installed the aether mod for MC 1.0 and the texture for aether dosn't change from the vanilla to your textures... WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?!??!?!

  • @jakob9303 glsl cant change aether at all... it only reads from minecraft's terrain.png and items.png

  • @MrOriginalzombie it supports aether, the texturepack, but the texture don't change*

  • I wish i had a better computer...

  • ok so i put the 2 files in the sphax pd craft file but theres no difference . is there a special way of doing this

  • when i install it it just looks like 1 picture overlaying the other. it hasnt got the 3d effect.

  • IncredibleOrb uses this//your texture pack! :)

  • @rolandXstar 2.0 doesn't exist

  • @LerodLP 2.0 does exist. get it.

  • Yes, yes i am working on the stuff for 1.0. But i started all over, since i can now start off with the 512 version and then go down. That plus some lack of time, but....yes i'm working on it =P

  • @Engehenk awesome news thanx

  • @Engehenk 1.0 update done.I love your work :D

  • @Engehenk hows the progress going and can you add cell-shader option?

  • @Engehenk how lomg tillm yyr finished? total rep to you if ya can pull it off .... my beast is sceaming for 512x goodnessm with this shader!

  • the GLSL shaders mod for minecraft 1.0.0 is out!!!

  • Would love to see this for the newest version of Sphax! Any chance you'll have the time?

  • HOW THE HECK DO YOU INSTALL THE TERRAIN THINGS

  • Update for 2.0! :F

  • please update shader files to new glsl2.0

  • who the hell dissliked this is the greatest texture pack video evar !!!

  • Great vid

  • With this texture pack I would think that this is another game! O.O

  • my fav texture pack of all time

  • Holy shit! That's amazing! Definitely downloading! Already my favorite pack before even downloading it! Hopefully my computer can handle the shaders and stuff....

  • @Oscarmonster00 where is it?? I can't find it in the minecraft forums.. I had downloaded the texturepack a long time ago..

  • why is there nether and fire icons on stones?

  • Thanks for the info @Engehenk . =)

  • Does 1.7+ means you can use for 1.9 Pre ?

  • @radzey13 Nope, that means the textures supported where for 1.7 to 1.7.3 versions. Since the mod doesn't work with the last updates (And with this rate of random updates it won't be anytime soon either)

  • @Engehenk

A lot of patches and mods I saw were updated to 1.8.1. I'm going to guess you can't/won't update it because it's a very hard code.

But when minecraft has been updated for like 6 months and still haven't got any news of an update, you'll update it again?

  • @215day The thing is, i'm no coder, i only create the specific shadermaps for texturepacks to be used with the GLSL mod. So unfortunally i have to wait for a update aswel before i can actually get some testing done on new textures.(And if i can bring up the time for it by then, due some bugs and most mods not working for starters i tend to stop playing minecraft)

  • @radzey13 they updated it now for all pre realeses for 1.9 and 1.8 now :P

just fin the texture pack lol

  • Whats the seed for the world at 3:03 ???

  • i feel like this rapes computers for breakfast

  • Awesome

  • So... Pure!

  • what are the system req for this mod?

  • love this texture pack!

  • How do you get water flow like this?

Is that part of the GLSL shaders?

  • @GreyFox010 Yea, the shaders used also have waving water enabled. (the terrain files are just for the parallax and specular functions of the shaders, the shaders themself can add much more effects).

  • @Engehenk Thanks man, I look forward to getting these to work with 1.8 hehe

  • wow. There's really nothing much else that can be said.

  • gibts die welt zum download?

  • That looks amazing. I love the shine on the blocks. Definately downloading right now.

  • Damn... Are you using an 1.5 version of minecraft? becuse that GSL shaders mod that u get into info are for 1.5 -_-

  • @ambetpl And it also says right below the link that you have to go to page 215 for the unofficial version that works for 1.7+.

  • OMG that looks so beautiful :O

  • looks like zelda for some reason o.O

  • IMO This skin should be in every minecraft as deflaut. Great job.

  • i cant find the GLSL support download in the site!?

  • @Pivotfreak33 The *suppport* files, aka the terrain_nh and terrain_s are in the description of the video.

  • @Engehenk im put this in there but its making these colours like from Terrain_nh is all blue and in Terrain_s is all dark :/

  • @Pivotfreak33 Well is the GLSL mod working? If so and you did everything correctly, it "should" work. If you get strange colour issues in the game, try updating your videocard drivers.

  • thats the best netherack ive ever seen

  • Do you also do this for 256 version?

  • @MRCartm0n 512 and 256, but i have to start all over, and due some code changes, it will take a bit =)

  • that's one sexy texture pack

  • i found a way to turn bump mapping on/off ingame all you have to do is to activate smoth lighting and it will turn bump mapping off ;D

  • Thank You For Eye Raping Me

  • Hey can you please help when ever I install any shaders my minecraft lags like crazy :( and I even run it at 4gb still lag like crap

  • @LuaScripter3 Tried updating to java 7? And did you install 64 bit java (if you have a 64bit OS that is)?

  • @Engehenk yh i have 32 bit ands 64 bit java

  • @Engehenk Also my specs are AMD Athlom(tm) II X2 250 Processor 3.00 and the other thing video card is

    GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

  • @LuaScripter3 Strange, updated your videodrivers aswel? Or else reinstall the game again? I've had a few issues where it wouldn't run more then 15 fps. Reinstalled it and suddenly, fps gain again.

  • @Engehenk How can I modify your PNG map files? I have photoshop and know how to use it but have no knowledge of editing bumpmap files, and I don't quite understand what daxnitro's wiki says about them.

  • @andrewk047 You will have to download the Nvidia normal map filter and install it. Other then that, keep in mind that the alpha channels are important for parallax occlusion to work. 100% transparent equals deep inside the block, 0% transparent equals the top of the block. You are best off creating a heightmap of the texture you want, and turn that into a normal map.(And set the alpha field to height in the nvidia plugin)

  • @Engehenk Ahaha well it's useless anyway as I cannot get these shaders to work... It may be due to the fact that I have an ATI card. I have a laptop with a mobility radeon 3450.... not very good. The shaders lag my game and simply do not have any effect, and I even installed the textures properly. AND I had no other mods installed

  • @andrewk047 Laptop's tend to be a bit of a issue with the GLSL in general it seems. Could be a openGL version problem aswel due the vid. card. Shame really.

  • i keep watching this for the song also

  • Just tried this with optifine, works great! (Mcpatcher has been giving me trouble lately.)

  • Oh, I forgot to ask - Sphax supports the Aether mod, but do your shaders/specs/bumps work in the Aether?

  • @FaustTP Unfortunally you can only map items that are in the terrain.png, so no mobs/weapons or mods that use textures outside of the terrain.png. (At least at this time)

  • Okay, I'm pretty sure I managed to screw this up somehow. I get the waving water, and iron managed to be "shiny", but everything else seems the same.

    - I start fresh, use modloader,

    - Open MCpatcher, add the modloader GLSL shaders, patch.

    - Open Minecraft.rar, replace the files in the shader folder

    - Open Sphax texture pack, add the two terrain files provided directly into the texture pack, not in any other directory in the texture pack.

  • @FaustTP Very strange, that means the GLSL is working, so is the specular mapping, only the parallax occlusion isn't. Yet the specular mapping needs the _nh file to work (else you would get a white glare on everything) so it does do that part. Try redownloading the terrain_nh again, maybe something went wrong and for some reason it lost it's transparency. (If it has no transparency it acts as bumpmap, so no bumpy surfaces, just reflections in the specular mapping)

  • @Engehenk Yep, that appears to be it. Now I just wish there was a 256 version :P

  • I installed everything and I don't get the effect at 0:31 or any affect for that matter. (After I install the provided shaders)

Any tips? I did what you said in comment, I have a Mac if the matters.

  • awesome. please do 512x pack as well.

  • @MrOriginalzombie I will, since i was planning on doing the 256, but i'd have to start over from start again anyway. So might aswel start with the 512 and scale it down later. But i'll need some testers later on since my pc can't actually run 512x packs that well =P.

  • @Engehenk sounds awesome. i'd be happy to test on my pc, i can run 512x packs np. thanx

  • great song choice nice glsl setting you really know how to make minecraft look beautifull

  • pretty awesome!

  • Hey Engehenk, I really love all the GLSL videos but I can't seem to figure out how to install them. Could you possibly send me a private video on how to do it? Also Deadmau5 FTW!

  • @ddd0iii0eee0 I already have a vid up on how to install it for 1.6, it's almost the same for 1.7. (1.7 is easier actually ) But in short:

-Download all files in the description + unofficial GLSL and Mcpatcher

-Install GLSL by selecting the .zip file with the + button in Mcpatcher

-Overwrite the 3 shaderfiles in the shaders folder inside minecraft.jar with the ones in the description

-Add the terrain files into the texturepack.zip

It gets a bit more clear after watching the vid though =).

  • @Engehenk Thank you so much! I can't believe I didn't know about that video.

  • You should try running this with the finite liquid mod. It is pure beauty.

I'm loving your videos btw. Your doin an excellent job, keep it up man :D

  • @KNWProductions Thanks! I actually haven't tried allot of mods, but i think i might mess around with some in the future. And prepare for all the questions regarding how to install them =P.

  • Woah, this one has both bumpmaps and waving wheat and the waves in the water thingie?!

I did not know that's possible. XD

Too bad my PC tends to lag out too much with shaders even though it's powerful. :S

Guess I'll have to hope Optifine gets compatible.
