  • anyone know where i can find a DL of V-Producer.

i freakin lost my cd....now im stuck. cant find a DL anywhere.

  • u can tell he's into that ol' boom bap.

  • This piece is a sleeper in the industry as a sampler. The machine is beast. I knew it when it first dropped many years ago. Don't worry I will be posting producer videos here and show the world what a beast this machine is!!!!

  • Ok this may sound a bit dumb:

Can you make the timestretch feature also affect the pitch?,

I know that the whole point about this thing is that it allows you to have more control over your sound but I'm interested in slowing down the tempo and lowering the pitch at the same time like the old akais used to do.

  • @ClJNT Sure!

  • Best $400 I ever spent for my studio. Will NEVER get rid of this baby.

  • i want 1 realllly bad

  • ableton live

  • Got 1.

  • so nineties

  • Got 2 of em'

  • how much do they cost ?

  • Actually I only have one of these. I was thinking of my other Roland stuff.

I bought it on Ebay (Apr05). I believe I paid under $400. Only drawback is the 6 voices, but there are numerous ways around the "limitation" The fidelity is awesome. The wave editing can be as detailed as you want.

  • im sorry im a new producer of music . i dont understand what you mean by 6 voices or fidelity .

also i was wondering if its worth having this piece of gear as apposed to getting something software instead ..

  • 6 voices means that you can only hold 6 keys down at a time (3 when sampling in stereo) Unlike a piano, where you can

press any amount of keys silmutaneously and hear all of the notes. In the case of the VP 9000, once you add the 7th note (or voice) it will "steal" one of the 6 notes or not sound at all.

To get around this, you can simply use the resample feature where you can have multiple sounds or events on 1 key.

  • i want one

  • Thes One from PUTS also uses / used it as well.

  • daft punk work with this sampler for the discovery album
