well, my zen keeps getting corrupted files. I love it, but it freezes. and reset button doesn't work, you have to hold down play while turnong it on and format it. also the shiny surface and matte surace wear down quickly

Yeah think before you buy! In zen you'll be having a hard pressing its bottons... but in ipod its kinda soft touch and have touch wheel... There are so many fake player now that looks like zen (with radio, expadable memory, recording...) cheap! I've had several Zens. They didn't hang up. Moreover they didn't EXPLODE, like some Ipods do.

Hold down Menu + Middle button on any Ipod to reset it if it hangs. They have that function there because sometimes in a while, Ipods also hang up. For the Touch, hold Home + Lock for a few seconds, and it'll reset.

Ipods have the worst value/price ratio ever...

I just bought the Zen 8g and i must say that it is better than the nano (which I also have. No bias here). I am so glad I bought it and am happy for doing so. Great player. And it does not feel cheap or toy-like. It is great.

zen sucks. It can't be charged, it can 't support GOOD picture when veiwing pictures or videos b/c it doesn't have enough resolution to support its 'large' screen. and it just looks tacky. Controls suck.

i gone a ipod BEFORE a ipod classic actually, terrible mistake SUCKS. we can actually compare zen 32gb with ipod classic 80gb(latest vision)in the high memory capacity category. ipod sure80gb but do u really need ALL the songs inside your player, i don't think so. both zen and classic got 2.5" screen (actully if compare classic is a HUGE set with SMALL screen). SD expansion if needed (classic NO), size and weight (classic BULKY in pocket), data transfer (classic NEEDS itune)

I have been using an iPod for almost 3 years and I cannot say many bad words about it. It IS a great player, you cannot deny that. It's even become a pop culture icon. And It's beautiful. I think iPod is Apple's greatest success and it raised the bar so high that few companies can jump over it. However I think Creative is one of them and that's why I'm selling my good ol mini and getting myself a ZEN. It's already been shipped! ^^

iam a fan of creative but the ipod nano is also a great device the earlier videos like this ( zvm versus ipod video ) where more accurate . and i hate to say it but you don't look very smart judging by your spelling im not trying to be mean but if your trying to make a legit review it didn't come out that well i chose the zen over the ipod nano because of 1. the price 2. the screen size 3. i don't like ipods
